As we entered Joan's shop we heard her beautiful voice filling her space with song and praise. She gave us a warm welcome, took my mother by the hand and began the process of alterations for my mother's wedding pant suit and rehersal dinner dress. Joan sensed my mother needed some extra care and never skipped a beat in her time and attention to my mother's needs. We ended our first visit at "Alterations by Joan" with a hug and a prayer, and two pieces of chocolate for the road! If every business operated like Joan's our world would be a better place!“

“She’s gonna kill me for taking so long to do this but………My friend(Groom) and I(Best Man) came in to get our suits tailored and dry cleaned. Of course we were last minute and needed to get them done as soon as possible for the wedding(within 10 days). She was super nice, extremely detailed, and made sure we had everything we needed before we left her with a week’s notice… sorry again!She was able to rush the order, worked over the weekend, and get it done in time. Everything came out looking great. She truly is a master of her craft. 10/10 would recommend anyone who needs a tailor in Lake Mary or just in Orlando.Thank you again because without you these two studs would’ve been stuck in the dog house quite sometime.“
