A week ago today, our 157 pound German Shepherd Dog, Apollo, collapsed and was unable to express his bladder or use his rear legs. We medically managed his pain over the weekend and we were referred by my vet to Dr. Levine. Monday morning couldn’t have come soon enough, but Dr. Levine wasn’t in! I thought that was it for our beloved boy, but the receptionist called him and he agreed to come in and see Apollo. Later that day, he had surgery for a herniated disc to relieve the compression on his spine. Today, Apollo stood up in his enclosure and took his first steps! Thank you to Dr. Levine, Charlie, and everyone else who helped save my big boy! Words cannot describe how grateful we are for your compassion, knowledge and skill! Michele & Chris Murray
I’m so incredibly grateful and impressed by the entire team at Levine Veterinary Neurology! I brought my 4 pound Yorkie, Max, to see Dr. Levine due to seizure-like behavior. Dr. Levine took his time examining Max, discussing potential diagnoses, and possible treatments. They were able to do an MRI in the office and kept Max super safe and comfortable during the test. After the MRI, Dr. Levine showed me the images and diagnosed Max with Chiari-Like Malformation. Again he took his time and explained everything about this disease and gave me all options for treatment. The professionalism, kindness, and compassion that was shown to me was beyond anything I’ve experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Levine and his amazing team!
Called Levine Neurology because my 4 year old Shi-Poo had been diagnosed with IVDD Disc Disease. Alexis was very professional & informative, presented me an estimate for an MRI and Surgery. Upon arrival Dr. Chris Levine came into the room and sat down on the floor to be at the same level as our Zorro I included my husband in the visit via Facetime Dr. Chris took ALOT of Time with us examine Zorro, explain all options and their pros/cons, answer ALL our questions, never did we feel rushed! We did not feel pressured to have the MRI and decided in the end not to have it done at this time but to try the medicinal treatment for a bit longer. As a business owner we know that the consultation is not a great profit source the MRI is where the real profit IS yet Dr. Chris DID NOT PUSH that option on us. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice!!!! 5*****STARS!!!
