I started going to 5 Star when they first opened and will be a long-time client! First...it's the cleanest, nicest salon I've seen. The staff are very friendly and well trained. They offer drinks (including wine) and they pay attention to what YOU want. I have a favorite tech, but until I settled with her, I had five or six others that were just as good. I just took (old southern saying) a "liken" to her. I would give this place 10 stars if possible!

My regular hair dresser of over 20+ years is having the time of his life in Greece right now. These roots could not wait! ?I usually do my own roots when there is a scheduling issue but having stitches in my right hand put the kibosh on that. I lucked into Michelle Donadio at Hair Creation by Michelle in My Salon Suites in Apopka and I'm super happy. First off, I was late on accident (had the wrong time in my head) and she couldn't have been nicer about it. Can't believe I was late to an initial appointment ugh!Next, I came in with my own Paul Mitchell color and told her what my formula was. Most hairdressers would be a bit incensed about a client telling them how to mix up their color but not Michelle! She did a fantastic job, left it smooth as glass after a good blow out too. I would definitely use her again in the future and recommend her highly. I love that she has online booking so you don't have to wait for a return phone call or email to schedule. You are not going to find a better price hair cut at a barber shop anywhere else. P.S. there is no charge for the conversion.

First, some demographics. I'm 68 and white. I'm not into new things right off the bat. I know what works for me and I stick with it. I was next door to Tuto's, giving blood. I need a haircut, so as I walk out of Oneblood, I decide to go into Tuto's and give them a try. My regular barber is moving back to Illinois so I'm looking for a new barber. I'm a walk-in, so next barber up is a guy named Jose. I tell him how I like my hair and off we go. His technique is totally different from what I'm used to. When he's done and I take a look at the finished product, I'm quite surprised. It looks nothing like I expected. But as I look at it, I see that the style may be different from what I'm used to, but the technique and overall look is very well done.
Normally, when I get home, my wife will comment "I see you got your hair cut." or something like that. This time when I walk in, she says "That's a great looking haircut!" As a matter of fact, everyone that I know that saw me said about the same thing: Great looking haircut. After having it a few days, I agree. Jose did a great job.
Now, here's my only knock against Jose. While he was cutting my hair, he never spoke to me once. But how could he? He was having a very animated conversation with another barber. In Spanish. Although I'm trying to learn Spanish, I'm not there yet, so I have no idea what they were talking about.
Bottomline: I'll be back. I'm there for the haircut and the haircut was great.

This place is great! So I'm originally from Michigan so when I decided to get my nails done while on vacation I was a little nervous but Christy's nails did great! I got a full set of acrylic nails done by Helen, who was very detailed and made sure everything was even. She even filed the underside of the nails! Lily was the one who painted my nails and did the design I wanted. She was very detailed and thorough to make sure the lines were straight. Overall it was a wonderful experience! It was a very calming environment, with classical music in the background. They were very well priced as well. I had meduim almond shaped acrylic nails done with a simple nail design on bothe ring fingers, and the total cost with tip was 66 dollars. Very happy with how it went!

Had to replace my old backflow preventer. I did the work myself by putting in a brand new 420XL. I called several individuals, but I got no exact time, no call back and no replies from most. I even had one plumber come to my home and tell me it failed the inspection and wanted me to pay him to take apart the brand new unit and fix it. I was furious and told him to go away. , In comes A1 SERVICE PLUMBING. The Manager/dispatch gentleman told me, "If I say our plumber will be there around 16:00 he will be there around 16:00 and he was. The gentleman from A1 Plumbing was great. He did the inspection and told me it passed and there was no problem with it. Their prices for the Backflow/Cross connect Is more than fair and very reasonable. Coupled with their professionalism they saved the day and I have no threat of having my water shut off and I didn't get taken for a financial ride. Thank You Gentlemen.

Very nice men but three came into Five Guys and tracked a tremendous amount of whatever they were working with ALL over the lobby floors it was very challenging to clean up around the other customers. I just feel as though they should be aware of their shoes or choose a drive thru option. These photos are after I mopped the floors already not sure what was on the shoes. Again very nice guys but the shoes affect business.

Stage Door II is replacing a sewer line in my neighborhood which involved reinstalling my water meter. Initially the water meter didn’t leak, but it began leaking. I contacted Stage Door II and they arrived the following day and repaired the leak. Marco quickly repaired the leak and was courteous and professional.

I have been trying to get plants to grow in our campus land lab for years, but everything always dies. This year we got a load of soil from Roedell's and I was amazed at how well our plants grew. We had watermelon and morning glories scaling up and over our duck pens, providing natural shade for our ducks. We also had delicious cantaloupe, giant sunflowers, and now Kale coming in. We just got another load and can't wait to get my students successfully growing plants.
