“During the spring, I reached out to several Fence companies to get quotes on a tear down of an old fence and installation of a new fence. Newark Fence Co.’s quote was in the middle of 4 other quotes. But it wasn’t the price that we cared about. When Rob came out with his wife to do the estimate, they had a great presence about them. They were respectful, listened to everything we wanted, supplied feedback/suggestions and was willing to work with us on what we wanted. After we settled in Newark Fence, we asked them to come back out so we can go over the plan of what’s expected. They didn’t hesitate and put us on the schedule.During that meeting, they were upfront and said supply chains are backed up so expect an install date in September. We were ok with that - that was only 2 months away and still time to enjoy the new fence. Come the first week of September, they contacted us and gave us their availability; we responded with an exact date and they were all for it!The day of install, they were at our house at 8am like they said they would be. Although it was not Rob who showed up, the worker went over with what the game plan was and it was exactly what we discussed with Rob. There were even things they brought up that we didn’t think about - that’s professionalism. Instead of making a judgement call, they asked us what we wanted. We knew right then this was going to be a great install.But wait - THERE’S MORE!! During the morning, Rob showed up to make sure his workers were in the job, talked to us, and were following the game plan for installation. Then Rob talked to us to make sure we were happy with what was going on and what to expect as the day went on. This was full transparency at its finest with a contractor. And the installation went as planned/as stated by Rob. They even hauled away some excess garbage that we had in our garage - no questions asked. When done, they walked through what we should expect, as far as the ground around the fence posts goes and how to operate the gates. Even before leaving they made sure we were happy with the results before asking for the final payment.We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, courtesy, and flexible Fence contractor.
