I always heard that Universal Floors stood out above everyone else and now I know why. I had a repair job to the hardwood floors in my bedroom that, while relatively small was complicated due to the work of a previous floor company. The floor was “mushy” when walking on it and it was a high traffic area so it was a really an uncomfortable feel every day. Kevin assessed the problem and his exceptional team replaced some floorboards, sanded and now the floor feels tight again. When the stain appeared to be a little too dark the following day, I sent a picture to Kevin who agreed and immediately arranged to have the boards re-sanded and stained. Extraordinary craftsmanship and professionalism. Every interaction with the company was a pleasure. Sprig Lynn correctly assessed what was needed to repair our 120-year old floors. He perfectly matched the wood and coloring. The workers who did the labor were artisans of the highest order. Everyone we dealt with was delightful. I recommend this company without reservation.
