“My experience was great here! I booked an appointment online for the same day and was able to be seen immediately. The environment is such a great space (vinyl records, music playing overhead, homey decorations) and the doctor that I saw was patient and answered all my questions.“

“Very grateful for this service to the community! Makes it easy to get tested together with a new partner for ease of mind :)Communication was a bit lacking, not in a way that was a mega problem for me. We weren't told how long the wait would be, but I think we were seen maybe 30 minutes after getting there? And I was given a rapid finger prick test for HIV that gave results right away. But afterward I peed in a cup, got a mouth swab, and had blood drawn, and I wasn't told what all those were for. I'm assuming it was gonorrhea and chlamydia, but usually it's either urine or blood draw not both? But I'm not mad at it! I appreciate how thorough they are :)Results come in through the Healthvana portal, which is appreciated. I know some places will just call only if results are positive, and don't reach out at all if negative. So having it in a portal is just another layer of peace of mind :)“

“Sometimes (many times), it is hard to find amazing doctors and professional staff. Integrated Dermatology of 19th St -- not to be confused with Integrated Dermatology of K St (easily confused) --is such a place. I had a post-surgical wound on my back that wouldn't heal, and I could not reach it (and did not want to ask friends to change very messy bandages). Several times each week for a period of over 8 weeks, I arrived at their 19th Street office. I was always welcomed with a warm reception, remarkable caring professional hands, palpable sensitivity to me and my situation and no waiting time. I just wanted to say thank-you to Drs. S and D and Chris and Reid. While no one wants a wound that defies healing fast, everyone should be as fortunate as I was to be a patient under the collective and respective care of you all. Since I never write reviews, I hope this one communicates the quality of the care I received and still receive.“
