I love this place!! After months of searching for a good salon I found them through Tik Tok. Everything is super professional and they take good care of you. I got a gloss and a haircut! I loved the head massage while my hair was being washed. Another thing I liked that they checked in with you to make sure you were comfortable. My stylist was Stephie and she absolutely rocked it!! I was able to communicate what I wanted and she provided me her input. Will be back for sure!

Absolutely the best salon experience in dc! I’ve seen Justine for 7+ years and my hair is always a slay! I’ve had cuts by several stylists (bianca is my regular but when in a pinch I’m confident I can go to anyone) and am never disappointed. My husband gets his cuts with Renee and he’s never looked better. They create a warm, inclusive environment where you feel like a baddie—no mean girl energy that I’ve experienced at other salons. Blackbird days are my favorite days!

It’s difficult to put into words the admiration I have for Blackbird. From the two most spectacular young women who own the salon, the amazing front desk staff who make sure we feel taken care of, every stylist and colorist who cares so deeply about their clients and their work- every person makes this salon tick in perfect harmony. There’s no place I’d rather spend a day enjoying a freshly made latte in the most gorgeous, relaxing space. I have been working with many of these ladies before they were at Blackbird and they have ensured I remain a life long customer. If you aren’t working with Blackbird yet, you are missing out on a spectacular experience.
