Dave Smith (owner) came out to look at the project and gave me some great ideas on how to beautify the space that would be within my budget and make the most sense to maximize the space (it's a room above a garage with it's own entrance). The followup for scheduling his team to come was seamless and the communication ongoing as we mapped towards that date. The work was not only professional the team/workers were as well. They had our project completed in a timely manner and you would never had known they were there upon completion. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! Even I want to stay there!“

“Over the last 7 years, Nutmeg Building and Remodeling has remodeled our kitchen, both bathrooms & our family room. They have demolished an old shed, replaced the front door, installed our siding and installed our windows. We have always gotten numerous quotes and Denise is not always the lowest, but we keep going back to her because she is honest, fairly priced and does quality work. We have had a couple instances where we were not pleased with something and Denise was quick to respond and resolve the issue. This is not uncommon in construction jobs and you really want someone who is easy to talk to and responsive and that is Denise. “Dave Tetlow and his crew and sub-contractors were a pleasure to work with. They coordinated well and got the work done with great attention to detail. Some of the excavation work was tricky because of limited space and it was a challenge tying the roofs of the existing buildings together. In both cases, the results came out extremely well. Dave was always available and he kept me well informed about all aspects of the progress. He interfaced very well with the electrical, plumbing, heating contractors and inspectors so that the phases of the construction were ready when their input was needed. Overall, the work was done very well and completely.“

One finally called a week later but by then I had found someone. EZ made the time to fit our deadline into his schedule. He was on site quickly, gave an estimate, and started to work within a week. Finished on time. No additional or hidden fees. Definitely recommend.“

“The Driveway Guys put in a whole new driveway for me on 9/6/2024. This company is fantastic. The job they did was incredible. I have a driveway that is around 3400 sq ft which makes the driveway about 160ft x 20ft with a large turnaround at the end. Brad, the foremen, showed up at my house around 2 in the afternoon and I was told he have done in before dark which made me skeptical to say the least. Brad was very professional and nice, we walked around the driveway discussing what needed to be done where he made some helpful suggestions for the driveway. While discussing the plans trucks started to arrive. It was getting close to 2:30 pm and I had some errands to run which would take me about an hour and half so I left Brad and his crew to it. I came back right around 3:45 and couldn’t believe what I saw, three quarters of the old driveway was already torn up and gone. Trucks were coming in and out all perfectly timed. No time was wasted at all. Two bucket loaders were simultaneously tearing the old driveway while laying down the processed gravel for the base which was brought in by yet another truck. As soon as the gravel was laid down the crew began raking it out and compressing it with the large rollers. As soon as that was done the paving material and equipment were waiting in the wings to go. Brad and his crew laid down the paving material in no at all, cleaned everything up, made it all look great. All of this was done in record time. The Driveway Guys started around 2:30pm and by 7:15pm they were done. Everything was done with incredible timing, just amazing! I would like to add while they were tearing up the old driveway, they came across some very large boulders that throughout the decades frost heaves had pushed them to the surface. They removed those as well. What they quoted me for the job was not the most expensive but wasn’t the least either. I chose them because of other positive reviews and they weren’t wrong. So, ya, if you are looking for a company for your driveway I would highly recommend The Driveway Guys.“
