“BDx Fitness truly lives up to the hype. I was looking for a fitness center to try out in Shelton and noticed the 5 star reviews so decided to check it out and I am glad I did. All the coaches are super friendly and more than willing to help you out wherever you are on your journey. I will like to give a special shout out to coach Ruben who I have been training with. He is honest, open, motivating (i love his quote: No challenge, no change), supportive, and I especially like how he is client focused. When he is working with you he is only focused on your workout and helping you reach your goals (he truly tunes everyone out) which I appreciate. I will end with a personal example to show much Ruben and BDx Fitness have truly helped me out. One exercise I have been working hard on is leg press and when I first started, my PR was around 140 lbs. After working with Ruben and training hard based on his program, I have gotten my PR up to 300 lbs (all in a few months). I highly recommend checking this place out and hope you have the same experience as I and many others do.“

“Pedro has been my personal trainer for so many years now, possibly six years or even more. He is tremendously dedicated to his work. I just turned 67. I have had numerous surgeries over the years and Pedro always works with me to adjust my exercise program during those times. I have also over the years had some bumps in the road with family issues. Pedro is always concerned with my health. He is also very knowledgeable about nutrition which I believe goes hand in hand with exercise. “Kudos to Jolene and the crew at Anything Goes Fitness. I had my annual physical today and while I still have work to do to bring my weight down, all vitals, strength tests, blood work and the like show that I am healthy and doing well. My doctor commented on how much healthier I am then many 30 somethings he sees. I can't take all (or most of) the credit. “I have only been working with Lou for a few months and the changes in my body are huge. When I started my knee pain was debilitating. “Lots of therapists to choose from. I usually take a while to warm up when i start at a new place but the doctors were all very nice. I'd been to 3 different pt doctors and one for occupational therapy. All were very thorough. My one qualm with the PT is that they spend soooo much time on the laptop DURING the session. I almost wonder how they can assess me when they're looking at desktop more than me. My OT therapist was very hands on and attentive however. We spent one session with him literally holding my hands the entire time! It was actually comforting..i have RA and my hands suffer. The compression and warmth helps. Nonetheless, it was a decent place for what I was going for. I was just looking to learn some stretches and tips to combat my condition. Im just used to more personable therapy. When I need therapy for an actual injury, I think I'd probably go to my other place. Buy again they were good for what I was needing at this time.“
“I had some good and bad experiences while attending there, especially with the personal trainer staff in the past. I truly think they can do better. It was sad to see they no longer have the gym there. But I understand why they had to get rid of it.“
“What I really find fascinating is the clientele at the Trumbull Club. The members are friendly, complimentary and motivating. I have never been at a club this friendly!“
