580 Farmington Ave # 101, Hartford“Doctor was very patient, and helped you understand exactly how to do the exercises. She was very welcoming, and made sure she knew your pain level before asking you to do something and made sure that if something was bothering you, she would make sure you wanted to continue. This office was definitely such a positive experience for me even through a tough time after an accident.“

60 Market St Suite 130, Avon“After surgery to fix hip impingement (FAI) and a resultant labral tear, I needed to find a local physical therapy facility for the first six weeks of my recovery and I’m so happy I chose Ivy Rehab in Avon. Emma and Geoff were a great duo to help me get back on my feet, literally, and all the therapists are very collaborative in order to make sure you’re receiving the right treatment at the optimal point of your recovery process. Notably, unlike so many other PT offices I’ve been to, I never felt rushed, ignored, or taken for granted. The facility is new, spacious, and I was happy with the scheduling flexibility they had. From the start to after my six weeks were up, I went from hobbling in on crutches to walking virtually pain free. I have a while to go but happy with the foundation I built at Ivy.“

64 Market Square, Newington“When I was evaluating several PT programs in my area, many people raved and recommended PTSMC. They were so right.
When I first arrived, I found a clean, bright and well-arranged facility. I was greeted by a warm and knowledgeable physical therapist named Agata. She proceeded to introduce me to their program, schedule future visits, and offer several in-home exercises. No pressure.
Yes, I am so impressed with PTSMC. I would recommend PTSMC to others and feel confident they will be as pleased as I am.“

“Stephanie is an excellent PT. I went to her for post-partum pelvic floor PT. She is knowledgeable and kind, and takes the time to explain your condition thoroughly. Unlike other PTs who have quick appointments and who seem to follow a standard routine for all patients, she tailored the sessions to my needs and took the time to get to know me. She did a combination of education and exercises to address my condition. She was even so accommodating and let me bring my newborn with me. I would highly recommend her services!“

“Before visiting Body in Motion, I'd barely been able to run for over a year due to a mysterious pain in the side of my calf. I worked with Dr. Jordan for about 2-3 months to address the issue and was able to run a 5k on Thanksgiving within a minute of my personal best time!
In September, I had an hour long assessment and initial treatment with Dr. Jordan who diagnosed the issue as peroneal neural tension. She guided me through some initial exercises and got me started on the coaching app for home exercises. I also had my first experience with dry needling, which I was initially apprehensive about, but was impressed by how well it released the tight peroneal muscles.
Over the next 2-3 months, I visited the office another couple of times for more dry needling and massaging of the tight muscles. I also continued following the exercise program in the app 6 days per week. As things continued to improve, I resumed hiking and started some light running. Along the way, I developed some IT band tightness and Dr. Jordan added exercises to target that area in addition to the neural tension.
By Thanksgiving, I was in a good enough spot to try and run a 5k turkey trot, with fairly low expectations. To my surprise, I finished within a minute of my best time and, more importantly, was completely pain-free!
I only worked directly with Dr. Jordan, but I met all of the other therapists during my office visits and could tell that they were just as skilled and passionate, and all were super friendly as well! If you're looking for a great PT experience, I would highly recommend Body in Motion.“
