“This is that gem no one knew about but we all actually need. First off, the owners are super friendly and overall just good people. Young is my favorite human ever and she is such a skilled tailor it's unreal. She was able to take one of my favorite coats that's been so worn out and make it into something completely new - from replacing the buttons, zippers, patching up the rips with an authentic design. I gasped when I saw the final product. Not only that she took all my pants and slim tapered them just how I like to wear it. Typically I'd have like 1 or 2 fav pair of pants/jeans on rotation, now I have like 10! I just love going there - weirdly, it's like one of my happy places when running errands. I'll forever support this small business as long as they're around.“
“Anything less than 5 stars for this place is an anomaly not worth taking into consideration. I am very, very particular about my suits, shirts and other very expensive textiles. Ms. Sookie is the best in the business and I’ve had suits done on every corner of the earth at this point and I have yet to find a cleaner or tailor that is as meticulous and thorough as Ms. Sookie.Prices are an abomination and only because she doesn’t charge enough. Would gladly pay a premium for the level of service provided here. She is very friendly and will be very clear on what she will and will not do— have yet to find a stain she couldn’t get out and she’s graciously saved my very expensive crinkle velvet duvet covers from a dog hair disaster on more than one occasion.Everything is ready on time as promised and I always look and feel great after she’s cared for my suits. I have 3 dry cleaners that do daily pickup in my neighborhood, most of which offer same or next day turnaround. I pass probably a dozen cleaners on my drive to Sookie and it’s worth the 20 minutes in the opposite direction for me to go here. Seriously that great.“
