I have brought new furry family members to the clinic, and I have had to make some very difficult life choice decisions for my pets as they have aged. I want to say, the staff are consistently professional, friendly and comforting. I have found Dr. Tim and Dr. Katie to be very knowledgeable. They are thorough with their examinations and provide extensive information to the owner. I highly recommend the services of Foothills Animal Hospital.“

“I've brought my puppy to this Sploot location since I got her back in May (2025)
After her routine visits, as well as some follow up ones, I feel that I can make an accurate review based on ongoing interactions.

The front desk staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. My puppy is met with smiles, positive greetings, and lots of petting.

All of the techs that have assisted us have been wonderful. Every single one of them. So sweet and caring. They always make me feel listened to, and validate my concerns.

Our experiences with the vets have been great, except for one specific person.
During that one visit I felt very judged, talked down on, and was met with condescending responses. I do not feel the need name the specific vet, as it was ONE visit and I have not had the chance to interact with them again, and will not judge the business a whole based off one person.
Despite a singular negative experience, the other vets that have examined my puppy have been great. Very communicative, informative, and laid back. I feel as if I'm talking with a friend or family member-- It's very comfortable.

My puppy has always shown anxiety towards shots/needles and there have been visits where things have been a bit of a struggle despite my ongoing attempts with desensitizing her to being handled/examined, making sure she is plenty socialized, trained, etc.
She is always super happy when interacting with any of the staff, her only issue being needles. Once needles are over with shes back to her people loving self.
Our most recent visit required routine bloodwork. Despite the initial struggle (from what I could hear) the tech said things went great and explained to me what they did to make the initial poke of the needle less painful.
I appreciated this sooo much and it makes ME much less anxious for future vaccines and bloodwork.

Overall, I never have any issues with getting my puppy to enter the building. She is always very willing and eager to do so-- happily walking, ready to greet anyone she sees, and excitedly shaking the tail she doesnt have.
I feel confident and comfortable bringing my puppy in to be cared for at this location and have recommended Sploot to friends.“

“My kitty Grayson was just getting some updated vaccines and a check up, and the vet noticed his teeth were bad. I was able to get him scheduled for a cleaning and extraction within 2 months! The vet made sure to walk me through the process and explain the extractions. He is SO happy now. It's been a week now and he has been happier than ever! He was purring nonstop the first 3 days. I mean NONSTOP. Now you can just see he's in a lot less pain. He also cuddles more!! Thank you Alameda for taking care of my boy.“

“They were very helpful when I took my cat in. We went straight into a room where Marcia came in about 2 minutes and asked why were there. She was quickly followed by Dr. SUMMER. Who explained everything we could want to know She got clarification of what we wanted. And my cat was scooped up by Marcia and all the things we had wanted done were completed. And my cat was brought back to me untraumatized. I would highly recommend the Lakewood Veterinary Hospital. They are very loving and gentle with every pet I've seen coming into their facility.“

“Dr Brett is nothing but miraculous when it comes to treating my dog Kevin. For years we could not figure out why Kevin would get these sores all over his body that broke into gooey mess. Our other vet did so many surgeries on our poor guy, only to have it keep coming back. I ran into a lady who told me to go see Dr Brett. He's in Lakewood, I'm in Parker so I wasn't thrilled to make that drive, but we did. One look and a couple of tests later, we walked out with a prescription ( and a doubting me) and within a few days, boom! Gone! He hasn't had one in 3 years, then he got it again this week. Took him in, and it's already gone. The disease is sterile penneculitis nodules. What a difference...surgery not needed!“

“I have been to a lot of veterinary clinics because I have always had and always will have dogs. Dr English is one of the good ones. Her staff always makes me feel welcomed and my animals are welcomed as well. I don't like vets that make you come back over and over again to be miss diagnosed. She can get straight to the point and she knows the anatomy of the animal so she can spot issues right away. That is important since the animals don't speak to us directly. My family trusts her with our animals and I am so grateful she is our neighborhood vet. Thank you for all you do for us and our furry family members!“

“I've been bringing my dog to Fox Hollow for about 4 years. She was recently diagnosed with a slipped disk. She will likely be on meds and need to be monitored for the rest of her life. Dr. Ryan has been great in taking care of her needs. So thankful for Fox Hollow. We have become "regulars" and she definitely has a fan club with the receptionists and techs! :)“
