We bought a zeck house 20 years ago. We noticed what a 'hurried up' job it was from the moment we moved in. Corners were cut, old and defective supplies used to save himself money. We asked him to come and take care of some mistakes, as there were quite a lot. We were instructed on how to do it ourselves. There definitely was no pride in craftsmanship. Only his bottom line. Would NEVER buy another home built by zeck.

Called to find out information about a rental property listed on their website. Like pulling teeth to get call representative to provide any information. After he talked me around in circles for about 2 minutes, he magically found that the property was unavailable. Please don't waste people's time.(This is in regards to their rental department/customer service on phone only - did not deal with any other portion of the company)

Used them to build our home. Wow was that a mistake. Now that Mansel out out of business AGAIN, it is verified that he is a crook, and not concerned about the customer, the one paying for the home. I had countless arguments with him and his "site supervisor" (his son in law) about getting things done on my home the way I wanted. It's truly a shame on me situation, as I really should have listened to my gut and walked away before I signed anything with him. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from him in every aspect of life.
