I had gotten quite a high estimate from a well known HVAC company to fix my air conditioner, when my sister suggested S&H Heating & Cooling, which she had used before and was quite happy with. I am so glad I took her advice and called them because they fixed my a/c promptly for a very reasonable price. I won't hesitate to call them again for any a/c or heating needs. Was referred by a friend when a rental house needed a furnace. Very competitive price on a better unit than other bids. Very honest as to what I needed. Later son needed a unit with filters for my grandsons allergies. Again great service and a honest company which I find very important. Another rental townhouse sale and needed an air conditioner. They were to the place very quickly and gave me an fair price and a good conditioner. Will always use them. From the 1st time Von visited to quote the work I was impressed...he's honest and knows what he's talking about when it comes to HVAC. We bought a 1982 home that needs a complete renovation and we had S&H install a new Carrier furnace, heat pump, steam humidifier and smart thermostat. I had called some of the larger firms first prior to finding Von's firm and some of the things their sales reps were telling me just weren't true and their quotes were just outrageous. It was refreshing to talk with Von and given my experience with some of the other Carrier dealers, I validated everything Von told me with a good friend, an engineer, who works for Carrier corporate. Everything checked out, the price was fair so we had S&H do the work. Von's son and his team came out and installed all the gear and they did a great job. The install looks clean and professional. Although we haven't moved into the house as the renovation continues, the system performs better than I ever could imagine. I highly recommend S&H...aside from great work, fair pricing and integrity, they are a small family business. A pleasure to work with.
