“We have had a slow drip in the bathtub. I knew how to fix it. But I didn't want to do it myself because I am looking for a plumber because I bought a house 3 years ago. This job was a trial run to find an honest plumber to tackle the bigger jobs that will require a professional. So I called around and was surprised, (but not surprised) that many refused to give quotes over the phone but wanted to come and diagnose the issue. I was quoted $475, $975 and $1275 (that one one even told me they needed to cut through my drywall in my garage to fix it.)
I had found another plumber and scheduled them, but John called me back and during our conversation he explained that he had over 20 years of experience, he was licensed, bonded and insured, and that he was local and familiar with the build of many houses in the area. I cancelled that other plumber.
He communicated before coming, came on time and fixed it. No more drips!
