David and Tracy are the only two manicurist who will ever do my nails!!
They were both POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! The salon was very clean with new equipment; I was soooo impressed!! The service I received was a lot; Gel Mani Pedi, removal of acrylic from the top of my real nails and received a combination of a Gel Build up and Gel Ex!!! I am so pleased and have found my new Nail Salon!! I’m Sooo Happy and make sure you make an appointment‼️???

“I have been getting my nails done by Julia and Sue for over a year. They are the best in the SFV! Let me break it down for you! First of all, the boutique is clean and they have lots of beautiful nail colors and essential oils for foot scrub to choose from. Second of all, they take their time and are proud of their work! If they see a hair or air bubble, they start over! Talk about being meticulous! Third of all, they DO NOT use a drill to file down the gel polish (all other shops do and I hate it!!) This is very important to me as I noticed my nails get thin and weak when other places use the drill to file down gel top coat. But fear not! You found the hidden gem!

Parking has NEVER been a problem for me! Again, after a year I have NOT paid to park in the parking structure. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and I always find street parking. Sometimes it is next to Trader Joe's but hey I can walk and get some steps in! I saw someone left a negative review about having to pay $15. Honey it is a free country! If you're too lazy to walk or can't parallel park then yes, you'll have to pay to park and that is not the boutique's fault. Give me a break people! The boutique is always open when I go to my appointment, which I always book online. It is very easy and user friendly. They do work by appointment only, so unfortunately no walk-ins and they are closed Mondays. As you can imagine, they book up fast because they are only a team of two compared to other places. But trust and believe me when I say you will NOT be disappointed! That is the Truth with a capital T! I love this boutique and I am so thankful that I asked my coworker where she got her nails done or I wouldn't be writing this review. So, if you're up for being pampered by the best and the meticulous, make an appointment online! Cheers! And remember to smile and be kind to others! I love you Julia and Sue!

Oh man! I have FINALLY found my go-to stylist after living in LA since 2010. I have been searching for the true right fit and Julie is certainly it.

If you want the short story: Julie is great! Well trained, does what you ask. GREAT RESULTS! Down to earth, no pressure, affordable stylist! My stylist for life. If you want the long story read ahead!

I have been putting off getting my hair cut/trimmed. I'm busy. Who isn’t? But really. My schedule is so tricky. I work two jobs. I'm going back to college. I have a husband. My schedule is constantly shifting - most days by the hour. That is not an exaggeration. Wednesday was no exception. I found myself with a few hours free between the hours of 10am and 2pm in the Woodland Hills area. I have had “haircut” on my to do list for weeks but it has been pushed every day.

I searched yelp. I found great reviews for Hair Concept 2000. Yelp mentioned that walk-ins were accepted, so I thought chances were good for a last minute appointment. I called. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I wish I would’ve asked her name! I was first offered a 3pm, but I started work at 3, so I had to delicine. Yikes. I felt horrible. She didn’t hesitate to offer another appointment at noon. Great! I didn’t even care what stylist I got. I didn’t need anything fancy. Just a trim for my long hair.

There was easy street parking on Ventura, I simply paid at the meter, I don’t care much to lose a dollar. But I believe there’s also a lot in the back. Julie greeted me. She’s cool. An awesome Bohemian vibe with short blue hair. Very artsy and authentic. I felt I could be myself and that means a lot to me in LA.

She did exactly what I asked for and even helped me with some damage from an over the counter product. I had A LOT of hair breakage all over my head and didn't even really know if anything could be done about it! JULIE had the solution! She had a crazy technique that cut so much of the damaged hair off but didn’t get rid of the length of my hair! I could NOT believe the difference it made! My hair looked HEALTHY and shiny!

And I did start to CRY because it was the first time in a WHILE I realized I was taking care of myself…like…damn…I had to get a haircut to cut away all that damage…I had so much damage! Why did I just ignore it? Thinking it would just disappear? So much of life is a metaphor folks!

Anyway, Julie was my hero that day! She saw me on short notice, put my hair back on the path to health, made me take some deep breaths, was wonderful to meet, it was just such a lovely experience.
