“This is my second time here. I get my hair done by Brenda. I will say the environment is very welcoming. Ana the owner is very nice. All the ladies here are nice. Great customer service. I get my highlights and cut here. Brenda is great. I appreciate the small talk and her work. I come here and I always try to recommend this location every chance I get. I will say there are days were it does get busy. So I suggest you make an appointment. Every time I'm here someone is getting their nails and hair done. “I have been a loyal customer at Today Nail for over a year now, and I can't say enough about how wonderful this salon is. Lydia and Romey are not only extremely kind but also incredibly attentive, detailed, and honest about what they can and can't do. I genuinely feel that they care about their customers and take pride in their work.This is a small salon with no more than three people working at a time, and they operate by appointment only. I highly recommend calling ahead at least a few days in advance to secure your spot. They do not do squeeze-ins, which I appreciate because it shows they don't want to rush their work.The salon itself is cozy and always very clean. I love the ambiance with kdramas, kpop, or Korean music playing on their TV—it adds a fun touch to the experience. Whatever design picture I bring to them, they are able to recreate it closely to my liking. No other salon I've been to has felt this personal.I never feel like my nails are being rushed. Each nail artist who has done my nails takes their time and is very detailed. I am always happy with the results and constantly receive compliments on my nails.I recently had a bio gel/builder gel mani that lasted an impressive 4 weeks. That's the kind of quality and longevity you can expect here.I'll be moving away from the area soon, and one of the things I'll miss most about Northridge and the Valley is Today Nail. “I started coming to Mimi’s for one reason… John. I followed John from his previous salon. He is the absolute best!! Not only is he really detailed and thorough with his work, but he is very kind and cares about you as a client. I only go every 3-4 weeks and because of the quality work, may nails last and I never have a nail raise or break.During the holidays, John was busy (understandably) and Lily the owner did my nails. She was so kind and just as detailed. Her husband Lee was also there closing the shop. They both stayed because I got there a little late after work. They both talked to me the whole hour and I felt they genuinely cared. It was nice to have a conversation and get to know them.I am blown away with this shop, and I see why John went here. The owners and staff are friendly and you can tell the environment and culture is good. It is also very clean ? ♥️“

“I highly recommend New Style Nails. I called ahead to see if they took walk ins, and she said yes come right over. I did and was welcomed warmly. I got a pedicure that was wonderful. She took time with me. It is clean and cool with calm music playing. It was the perfect place at the perfect time. They say on their website that they take cards (which they do), but apparently cash is their preferred method of payment, so a heads up on that. I will definitely be going back.“

“Amazing salon! Everyone was warm and friendly and very meticulous. I had eyebrow wax, gel mani, and regular pedi with buff and shine. Outstanding!!! The lady that did my brows (sorry I didn't catch her name) was so gentile and precise I barely felt a thing. Camila did my mani pedi and it was excellent. She took her time and made me feel very pampered. My nails have never looked so good, fresh, and clean. Very reasonably priced considering quality of service. Nicely decorated and calm vibe. Plenty of parking right in front. This will be my new regular spot for sure. Can't wait to come back.“
