Ali, Micah, and their entire team--Jorge, Thomas, and Divya--are excellent at what they do, and very knowledgeable each one is. They are not only thorough professionals but also good people with a good heart and positive energy. The same positive energy is reflected in the gym's atmosphere, which makes a big difference while you're getting in shape there. All my workouts were tailored to my needs, and I truly appreciated that. The gym is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and well-maintained. Ali and Micah always patiently responded to all my concerns and questions in detail, as did my fantastic trainers, Divya and Jorge, who did a great job at training me. Even though I had to terminate my membership early due to a personal health emergency, I gained a lot of knowledge in the short period of time, which I aim to implement in my workouts in the future. After just three months of training with Paul twice a week (and once a week on my own), I'm down 12 pounds and seeing actual muscle tone--six-pack, here I come. How? Paul has developed a routine for me that includes cardio warm-ups, bodyweight exercises, core workouts, and weight training, all complemented by his helpful diet advice. Not only do I feel fitter and stronger, but my tennis game has also improved--I can hit harder and play longer without getting winded. Paul's guidance has been a game changer, and I'm excited to keep training with him. Side note: The Compound has the coldest bottled water in town. Highly recommend!“

I have a shoulder injury right now and he has tailored every session and watches every exercise in order to help rehab safely. This is in addition to all the other areas for strength I wanted to focus on. I’ve already learned a ton from him on proper form, focus areas, and exercises and feel way stronger than I was in session one.“

I attend both mat and reformer pilates classes at least 3x/weekly via Class Pass and I keep coming back to Better Body for a consistent, well-rounded workout! Classes are challenging and there is a focus on appropriate form, which sometimes gets lost in group environments. I appreciate how the instructors provide real-time feedback to prevent any injuries, as well as modifications if needed. Mari has been in business for over 20 years and there's a clear reason why! Can't wait for my next class.“

5727 Las Virgenes Rd B, Calabasas“Had my first class here with Corey's Tuesday 6pm Rhythm Ride. It was fantastic! Corey had an amazing playlist (up to date with what's popular, but not toooooo Top 40), great energy, rode on the bike the entire time, engaged with each rider by calling out our names, and overall led a great class with good instruction. The lighting in the studio was also so fun and felt like a party. I used to work front desk at Soulcycle and usually hold a high standard for cycling studios because of that experience. However, Dig totally exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend!“

Gabe is very professional and knowledgeable in everything fitness, mind, and health. He is personable, reliable, communicable, and optimistic. I've been working out most of my life but I never fully understood the exercises until Gabe came along. He doesn't just put you through a workout and call it a day, he will actually explain every movement in detail so that you understand what it's purpose is and also what good and bad form looks like. He's very conscious about your form to prevent injuries. I've been working out with him twice a week and I've noticed major changes in my body. I'm 5'4 weighing about 125lbs and I feel like I'm the strongest I've ever been! I can actually see back muscles. My goal with Gabe is just to maintain my health and tone up my body. I'm starting to see more definition in my stomach, which has always been a struggle for me. Since working out with Gabe I've realized that its better to do the exercises slow & controlled rather than just cranking them out. If you're not doing them 100% then you won't see progress. Even my basic plank is so much better. I HIGHLY recommend Gabe!!!! Thanks to him I'm in the best shape ever and I feel more comfortable in the gym.“
