“I've only visited the location to purchase glasses as we get prescription services through our medical insurance, but this office is great. Convenient location with plenty of parking. They offer tons of options all within our insurance plan price. We pay our copayment and we are ready to go. Once the frames broke and we went back and they replaced them for free because we had them for under 6 months. Great experience all around.“

“I was visiting from out-of-state and having problems with glasses I bought the previous week near my home. The manager quickly fixed the frames (which two visits to my local store failed to do) and also put the lens back into my other pair of glasses at no charge. He was friendly and efficient with obvious pride in his work. Wish this was my local store!“

“I am personally not a big fan of Stanton, but I broke my glasses and desperate times call for desperate measures so I opted to go to one a little further away to try it out. I was not feeling hopeful when it took 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be seen by anyone (I was greeted and checked in as soon as I arrived so that was nice) when I finally got back to get my eye exam I was disappointed to see that it was a virtual optometrist. I am really sick of not being able to have an in person appointment. I don’t want to go out of my way to go to an appointment where the doctor doesn’t even have to do the same. Plus last time I got my eye exam done that way (through a different Stanton) they got my prescription so wrong I couldn’t even wear the glasses and had to go back and forth so many times to get my glasses right. I did the eye exam, the person doing it did not show me what the prescription looked like so I could evaluate if it was accurate and I could actually see. All over, it was really disappointing on the actual appointment/exam experience. However, I HAVE to give it 4 stars because of the staff I interacted with after my appointment. I believe she was a manager of some sort but she was absolutely delightful, she was very helpful attentive and knowledgeable. (Tynisa, I believe was her name) She helped me pick my frames and we went over all the features for the glasses I was getting.
I likely will not return to Stanton for glasses after this just because I am really put off by the video appointments, but if I’m ever between a rock and a hard place I would choose this Stanton to return to.“

“Warby Parker might not appreciate me sharing this story, but three days after receiving my new pair of glasses, our puppy Tugger got hold of them and chewed off the arm. I went into the store (with Tugger!) hoping I could buy a replacement arm. Instead they replaced the entire pair for free. Far and away more than I expected. I went to WP because I like the styles I’ve gotten there and their prices. I keep goin back for those reasons AND they are always really nice.“

“Eyes of East Sacramento gave me such great care! The staff and doctors show such attention to detail and are very kind. I came in for severe dry eye 6 months ago. The doctor taught me how to “milk” my eye lids to held my glands release more oil and gave me a few more tips too. Today I came in for a follow up and learned even more options that can help. I look forward to greater ease.“

“I’ve been bringing my son here for his annual eye exams, and our visit today was a bit frustrating. We arrived to find that my son was scheduled with a different doctor than usual, which I wasn’t informed about beforehand. Although I agreed to the change, things took a turn when I was told there would be a $30 fee for contact lens insertion and removal training, despite me stating that my son didn’t need this.

When I requested just the prescription for the contacts, I was informed that we had to purchase lenses from their office. This was disappointing, as I know patients are entitled to their prescription and can choose where to purchase their lenses. The overall experience left me feeling unheard and frustrated.

However, I want to acknowledge that Dr. Huynh called me to apologize for the situation, which I appreciate. The apology was a positive step, and I hope that future visits will reflect better communication and customer service.“

“Convenient location. Plenty of parking. Easy to make appointments online, also to change time/day etc. Doctor competent, friendly, efficient, thorough. Picking glasses easy with big inventory. Knowledgeable optician also friendly and efficient. Looking forward to getting glasses.
Have the glasses now. The lenses I got are a bit heavy, making the larger sized frames mildly uncomfortable. It is on me to find the time to get an adjustment. Had I understood the weight of the lenses I probably would’ve chosen a bit smaller frames. Next time…“

“I had my cataract surgery done by Dr. Sierra couple months ago. She was very through in explaining the procedure and the types of lenses and what would be best to go with. Since my surgery my vision feels normal and I am so happy with the result.
The office staff were nice to me during my office visit .
I would definitely recommend Sacramento Eye Consultant to my family n friends and anyone looking for eye surgery or second option.

“I have Dr. Ochoa as my primary doctor and he's pretty chill. I also do my therapy through them and ive had a really good experience, i like my trauma therapist alot. My psychologist is really cool too, she manages my medicine and its helped alot with my mental health. I think ive been at Peach Tree for a year now, im alot better than i was when i started. Also everyone at the front desk, well the majority of the nurses and staff there are always so friendly! Once you get through your first appointment, youre in pretty good hands.“

“I had my LASIK procedure 1 week ago and I could not be happier! The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. When I was considering getting LASIK, I had 3 consultations at 3 different offices around the Sacramento area. My consultation at Griffin and Reed was the only one where I actually met the doctor that day and spoke to them about my eyes, the likelihood of a successful procedure, and the possibility of complications. Dr. Maboudi immediately made me feel comfortable and confident. After I scheduled my appointment, the process was smooth and communication with office staff (scheduling appointments, getting prescriptions needed before surgery, etc.) was good. The day of the surgery was smooth and easy. As recommended, I went home after surgery and slept for most of the day. The next day I felt minimal discomfort and I could SEE BEAUTIFULLY. Prior to surgery, I had a high (-7.00) prescription and couldn't imagine functioning without corrective lenses. I could not believe I was able to drive myself to the 24 hour follow up appointment! I am so glad that I chose to have LASIK and I'm very glad I made the decision to go with Griffin and Reed. I only wish I had done it sooner!“

“Recently came here for an eye exam since it has been a few years for me. I must say I am very happy with the results. I was given a very different prescription, one like I have never had. It was for up close rather than to help me see far away. It has made a tremendous different and I wanted to thank this doctor!! It has really helped me in the small mistakes as work like transposing numbers and letters. “Would love a hot ? cold ❄️ water dispenser in wait room for guest, patients and their relatives,their children who are waiting. I'll send some magazines if I find any free ones. Yes it's an all women owned eye doctor & staff business. There just one big Hmong lady who keeps ignoring me when I came in for scheduled appointment when I was asking for help. Friendly nice employees. In last minute of test you'll get Tropicamide to dilate your eyes like a ? cat so the doctor can check your eyes left right up down for a couple seconds. You'll also receive a sunshade when you go out to protect your eyes from seeing bright lights. It should wear off in 24 hours if not go see an emergency hospital. Love the entrance,the cold,yes you can use the restroom just ask front desk. Wish the building would add a metal fence net on top stairs attach to the ceiling so no kids would fall off the edge. They do sell 25 cent window gel decorations at falling prices on Saturday if you might want to get yourself some for the windows. Recommend for all people but need insurance to cover. Recommend hmong community this is the only Hmong owned Optometrist but not all staff are Hmong.“

“It's been a long time since I've gotten new glasses so I decided to finally buy a new pair and I went with Pacific Vision Optometry, very happy with my decision because I left this place with glasses I liked hassle free. Dr. Tran explained to me what I needed for my lenses in a professional manner. “I recently walked in with a pair of LV sunglasses and just like all my other glasses I thought I could convert them into seeing eye glasses but little did Ik they wouldn’t workout and I would’ve had spent over half 1k on glasses that would be useless to me. Yoyo had informed me about the sunglasses and actually introduced me to a pair of Gucci glasses that not only were more expensive and more stylish but he also saved me a lot more money by introducing me to some discounts I wasn’t aware of. Yoyo exceeded to make my vision come to fruition.

I highly recommend this location not only for the options of glasses and location but I recommend this location because of people like Yoyo that truly are passionate about great costumer service.
