“We recently discovered Veterinary Medical Center of Woodland Hills and I’m so glad we did! it’s been wonderful for our family and dog so far. One of our dogs needed surgery and we visited two other vet offices beforehand for evaluations— One was too far away and the other seemed to overcharge on everything. Dr. Nardi graciously took us in for an evaluation and ultimately performed surgery without any complications and our dog’s recovery was an easy experience. I’d like to note that this veterinarian office is also very kind-hearted, honest, and ethical. We’ve been to several of their vets in the past who seemed to be primarily focused on money. This is a great vets office and our dog approves!“

“the ONLY place I trust with my cats. My cats are my reason for living, so I give them the best care and got them pet insurance. I drive 1.5 hours just to come here. I recently got my 3 year old's teeth cleaned, and they did an excellent job. I will say it was definitely more pricier than other places, but cats are notorious for hiding diseases that have fatal consequences, so I didn't want to skimp out on my cat's teeth cleaning.<br><br>I brought my other cat Anubis here and two other vets couldn't diagnose her and had already spent $1,200 only to be told they didn't know what was wrong with her, when she had a fever of 104 degrees. I brought her here, they give me the diagnosis in one day, and I had emergency pyometra surgery for my cat the next day (a condition in which a cat's uterus gets full of puss. I had just adopted her from a family being evicted, so she had never been to the vet before me and was already 3 years old.)<br><br>They give you updates when they are done as well, and follow up the next day. Absolutely exceptional service. My cats are everything to me.“

“Had our very first pet check-up for our cockatiel! Staff was approachable. Ashley assisted us and she was super nice, professional and accommodating! She made sure everything was prepared for the doctor before she came in to check Peanut (our bird) and she made sure everything was explained to us before we left the appointment. “We wanted a second opinion for our Havanese with chronic bloody stools and vomiting . We were told by his previous vet he has colitis. The little guy has struggled with this on and off for over three years but just recently, it was getting more frequent and extremely scary!! After forking our almost $900.00 for an office visit, medications, and being told it could be Colitis and IBS - pancreatitis was ruled out by a blood test - the bloody stools still continued. I found recommendations for Dr. Novy on the Nextdoor App. As with any change, we were skeptical!! However, we found Dr. Novy to be caring, empathetic and knowledgeable! We stopped all the previous medications, Sucralfate, Pepcid and metronidazole to following Dr. Novy's prescriptions and suggestions. Our little guy is doing so much better!! It's been almost a month without any bloody stools! We went from losing hope to enjoying our little guy's bouncing back to his old self each day. Most importantly, Dr. Novy kept tabs on our little guy's progress everyday!! Yes, everyday he wanted us to call in to check in and didn't hesitate at all to answer all of my d*** questions without judgment!! One evening, about 7 PM, I received a call which showed Valley Vet. I just assumed an employee was calling to check up on our little guy. I was shocked it was Dr. Novy himself!!! Thank you Dr. Novy!! Additionally, a quick shout out to the staff!! Thanks for always handling my panicked calls - yes calls - several a day - with so much professionalism and patience!! To top it off, we received a - Thank you - Card for having selected them to be our Vet!! Very classy!“

The facility is older and I LOVED the warm atmosphere; don't change a thing. You could tell so many fur families have been cared for here. Everything was spotless and organized. “Dr. Chang and her team are the best around. We came to TACOE during the pandemic with our diabetic senior Dachshund when our vet closed suddenly. Our dog, Oreo, was cared for lovingly and we always felt the same. Sadly, Oreo crossed the rainbow bridge at the end of April, however we will always be grateful for the care we all received. “I want to counteract the one star review left in the Fall of 2023. Dr. Spitzer was just at my house this afternoon to put down our senior dog via Lap of Love. She was wonderful. I met her outside at her car, and we talked a little bit about the decision before she came in and I was able to tell her some details about Rocket. We talked more with her as a family when she came inside. At no point did we feel rushed or that she wasn’t completely gentle with him. She explained everything she was going to do before doing it and then again before she did each step. She was talking to him throughout and she also paid attention to our other dog who was curious/stressed and growling at her. (He stopped growling the minute Rocket passed). I felt the service was excellent and exactly what I had envisioned. At no point did Rocket appear stressed or worried about what was happening.“

“I wish that I could give them 10 stars! This review is about Dog & Cat Imaging Center in Woodland Hills, also owned by Dr. Norman. Based on findings at an emergency vet, it was recommended that I follow up with a specialist to perform and interpret an abdominal ultrasound. I remember seeing a post on Facebook about a facility that only does imaging, so I saved the information for future reference, and I'm so glad that I did. I called and was given a same day appointment, which is amazing! As a board certified internist, I felt that Dr. Norman's expertise was perfect for my pup's situation, and I was right. After the ultrasound, he came out and sat with me explaining all of his findings, offering suggestions, including what to monitor and when to follow up. He thoroughly and patiently answered all of my questions. He's extremely professional and personable. His team is wonderful. I am truly grateful for Dr. Norman and his team. Thank you!“
