My wife and I purchased our windows and sliding glass doors over ten years ago. “Had a garage door issue at a rental property, motor was unable to lift the door. After describing the issue over the phone with Aaron he quickly assessed that the spring system has failed and would need to schedule a visit to give an accurate quote. We scheduled Aaron along with two other garage service companies. He converted/replaced the torsion spring system, re-programmed the open/close articulation of the motor, and repaired the aluminum garage door panels that were slightly bent from a car rolling into it for a very fair price. The reason why we went with Aaron out of the three, he was not trying to upsell us, his fee for labor, parts, and warranty were fair. He explained the scope of work, how long it would take for him to convert the spring system, and the parts in which he sources it from. Aaron is friendly, professional, knowledgable, competitive, personable, and patient, I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone to inspect, service, and repair their garage system. He convinced me his door was better than the other one I was considering. I have been happy with my door ever since. I only had one problem all these years. Our door's latching mechanism had been partially replaced on an earlier appointment and by another technician. The problem wasn't resolved on that visit, so Jerrod assessed the fitment of our door and correctly diagnosed our issue in less than ten minutes--wasn't the mechanism after all. After a few adjustments where he showed me how to make them myself, should I ever need to do so, Jerrod had our door working like new again. He also adjusted our lock to make the partially-replaced mechanism from the previous visit work smoothly while it settles into daily use. What a great visit. “Went through a full home remodel around five years ago and my contractor recommended Value windows. Never heard of the company but he used them for many of his projects. Windows and sliding doors work great, and contrary to some of the other reviews, color has been consistent through the years as well. On one of the larger dual panes windows, I had something called spontaneous breakage occur (window basically just shattered). It is not common, but can happen (and not necessarily just tied to this manufacturer). Having contacted Value directly, was thinking that this could be covered under warranty due to it not being caused by me. Unfortunately, they said that it wouldn't be covered and offered me a quote to get it replaced. Reluctantly said yes and was waiting which took a while. I was beginning to wonder why it was taking so long when they finally got back to me to say that they were working with management to see if they can replace it free of charge - whoa! I'm so appreciative of this company for going above and beyond. Again, based on the other yelper reviews, it looks like hit or miss, but wanted to leave my review for the positive experience I had. Also special shout out to Cristina and Winnie in the service department for making this happen, as well as the good flow of communication back and forth.“
