“I woke up this morning with something in my eye, and it was very painful. I gave it a few hours and tried every which way to remove whatever it was, and then started calling ophthalmologists near me. No one would see me. I tried optometrists and one offered an appointment three weeks out. Then I tried Shadowridge Family Vision Center. Although I was not a patient, they fitted me in, and 40 minutes later, Dr. Demlinger was examining me and carefully removed a small object that had become almost embedded in my eye. It took ten minutes, and why no one else could accommodate me or show any sympathy for my situation is beyond me. Dr. Demlinger was skillful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The front office staff were all helpful too.“

“I have been coming to Morris for about 15 years. They always do a great job and they keep me up to date on the condition of my eyes. Only concerns, $60 to update my sunglass prescription, and they wanted $225 for contacts. Really? I’m already there and you’ve done your eye exams. $225 seems a bit extreme for writing the prescription. You need to reconsider this.“
