“I've an amazing month long trip in 6 weeks that required an equally fabulous new do! I've never been to a salon and my hair has never had something I'd consider a style. It was just something I washed and went about life. A close friend suggested Salon D'Mar so I reached out. BEST DECISION (even easier than Capital One) EVER! Mishel was receptive to my idea of a cut and color of black and purple. We were all set to go...until I saw a different idea I liked more and ruined the entire plan. Once again, Mishel listened to my new request and got what I needed for a purple and grey cut and color. I went to my appointment yesterday and 6 hours later had what I wanted. The salon does everything from nails to permanent make up. The place is clean and upscale. Fair pricing and good vibes/energy. The best part are the stylists. Christina, Veronica, and Mishel listen to what their clients want and offer suggestions but ultimately do what you requested. So happy I took the plunge and thank you ladies!“

But the minute i entered the salon I realized that Celebs has a certain magic quality. Coming into the place feels like being invited into a good friend's home. Colorful overstuffed furniture mixes with elegant artwork, and there are always pastries and tea in the kitchen. Today I was handed a cup of green tea with apple slices and honey, and a small slice of carrot cake. But before I start sounding all "Ladies of the Canyon," let me just say that John Aguilar is one of the finest stylists I have ever encountered. It is almost mesmerizing watching him work his craft with such care and precision. I would even go so far as to say that he is somewhat intuitive-- he seems to know what look I am aiming for before I tell him. I like that he uses celebrities as references..."Oh, so you kind of have that Cate Blanchette thing going on in that one move.." I left the salon today with my hair and my soul refreshed.“
