“I've an amazing month long trip in 6 weeks that required an equally fabulous new do! I've never been to a salon and my hair has never had something I'd consider a style. It was just something I washed and went about life. A close friend suggested Salon D'Mar so I reached out. BEST DECISION (even easier than Capital One) EVER! Mishel was receptive to my idea of a cut and color of black and purple. We were all set to go...until I saw a different idea I liked more and ruined the entire plan. Once again, Mishel listened to my new request and got what I needed for a purple and grey cut and color. I went to my appointment yesterday and 6 hours later had what I wanted. The salon does everything from nails to permanent make up. The place is clean and upscale. Fair pricing and good vibes/energy. The best part are the stylists. Christina, Veronica, and Mishel listen to what their clients want and offer suggestions but ultimately do what you requested. So happy I took the plunge and thank you ladies!“

“Nothing but love for this place. I went in to brighten up my hair after getting low lights that left my blonde locks feeling drab and loved everything about this place. My stylist, Megan, was fabulous, very knowledgeable, and got my color shiny and shimmery and exactly what I wanted via expertly crafted golden highlights, the owners adorable pooches kept me company as my highlights processed and even the other stylists and customers were friendly, fun and approachable. “I would love to give Erin some credit for doing an AMAZING job on my half purple half black hair! For graduation it looked incredible and I got a lot of compliments from my teachers and family ?? I was actually trying to get her to do my hair recently but she wasn't able to on the day. I actually have a minor complaint about Laura, she was super rude and followed with a "girlfriend" at the end of comments like it would make the situation less awkward. I honestly didn't think she was being rude til I saw the look of the other customer's face as she was talking to me. I ended up going to another stylist who actually offered a deep conditioning for my hair instead of completely denying me of any service. I still recommend Erin and the others! ☺️

“I came into the salon today in a blue mood. So blue in fact that I considered changing my appointment; Netflix and a box of tissue were calling to me more than my scheduled trim. But the minute i entered the salon I realized that Celebs has a certain magic quality. Coming into the place feels like being invited into a good friend's home. Colorful overstuffed furniture mixes with elegant artwork, and there are always pastries and tea in the kitchen. Today I was handed a cup of green tea with apple slices and honey, and a small slice of carrot cake. But before I start sounding all "Ladies of the Canyon," let me just say that John Aguilar is one of the finest stylists I have ever encountered. It is almost mesmerizing watching him work his craft with such care and precision. I would even go so far as to say that he is somewhat intuitive-- he seems to know what look I am aiming for before I tell him. I like that he uses celebrities as references..."Oh, so you kind of have that Cate Blanchette thing going on in that one move.." I left the salon today with my hair and my soul refreshed.“
