“I was diagnosed with Spondylosthesis and severe narrowing of the neural foramen at L5-S1 after a minor car accident in February of 2023. The accident left me with intense burning, numbness, and tingling in my lower back, buttocks, and both my right and left feet and ankles.Following my doctor's recommendation, I underwent physical therapy (PT) for a couple of months, which improved my condition by about 25%. However, when I stopped seeing further improvement from PT, I decided to try acupuncture for a couple of months. This improved my condition another 10%, but then it plateaued.With limited options before considering steroid injections and surgery, a friend referred me to Ventura Spine & Disc. My first visit was incredibly welcoming, with a supportive staff and a thorough examination by Dr. Prestin. During our meeting, he took his time to explain everything and provided an honest assessment, which, initially, was somewhat disappointing. Dr. Prestin explained that due to my Spondylolisthesis, the typical treatment for my nerve issues, spinal decompression, was not an option. However, he mentioned a new therapy called SoftWave, a type of ultrasound therapy. Skeptical at first, but with few options left, I decided to give it a try.In the initial treatments, I didn't see much improvement, but afterward, I experienced steady progress. As of writing this review, I have completed 11 sessions, and my condition has improved to around 75% compared to when I was first in the car accident. I can't express my gratitude enough to Dr. Prestin and his staff for providing me with manageable pain relief.“

“I’m a patient here for over 2 years. I’ve had neck and hip pain for several years. Not only has Dr Walsh helped my neck and migraine headaches immensely, but I was scheduled to have a total hip replacement due to arthritis and somehow my hip actually improved under his care and gentle adjustments! Seriously…I could barely walk up stairs and I was in so much pain and now I can walk stairs without needing to hold onto the rail and with no more pain! I didn’t expect this much from a chiropractor and I’m very grateful. “I highly HIGHLY recommend coming to see Dominique if you're having back issues! I found her by chance. I have suffered with back injuries and pain for close to 15 years. I have done PT and spinal surgery, chiropractic care and acupuncture. None of which has really helped long term. I found myself crippled with pain on Jan 30 2020. I couldn't lay down, I couldn't stand, I couldn't sit. My everything hurt from the ribs down. I laid on my floor for hours crying, trying to figure out what to do. I watch videos of how chiropractors fix issues like mine, and that made me cry even more, it looked so painful, and my body could not handle that kind of trama. Knowing that going to the ER wouldn't help any, I knew that something had to be done, so i started looking up chiropractors in the area. Most were closed that day, so i kept looking. I came across "direct non-force chiropractor." And I knew that I had to give that a shot, and i am SO GLAD I did! Dominique is so gentle. The process was nothing like going to a regular chiropractor. There is no rough pulling, tugging, jerking or cracking. I didn't feel much difference right away, but as the day went on suddenly my pain went from 100 to about a 5! The next few days things got a little better. I've had a few follow up visits and each time it gets better. Im working on healing several old and new injuries, and Dominique has helped me more then anyone else has up to this point. I've already referred several friends and family members to her. Her prices are reasonable, and the results speak for themselves.“
