“I had been wanting to "remodel" the front garden of my house for a long time, but somehow never got around to it. This summer, I decided to go for it, and used Yelp to sift through landscaping companies. I needed some hardscape work done as well, in addition to lawn and planter full changeover. Tom was very responsive, and after a quick first meeting, I felt very comfortable going with him. He came across as someone who knows what he is doing and diligent about his work. That gut feel turned out to be 100% accurate. Tom personally gets his hands dirty, with his crew. Throughout the 7 days project, his crew arrived on time, did a great job, and left the area clean and neat at the end of each work day. “If I could leave 6 stars instead of 5, I would. In the scorching LA sun, Armando and his team finished our backyard in 2 days. It was better than I could have imagined. They were prompt, communicative, and did an excellent job on what was a terrible looking backyard of just weeds. We just recently purchased a house in the West Adams area and needed some help to create a backyard for not only us but our two dogs. Armando came to give us an estimate and was able to start within days of the estimate but finished the yard in two days! Myself and my husband could not have been happier. They also hauled away some extra shrubs and mulch that we had accumulated without any fuss or extra charges. I can't recommend him and his team more. I promise you, you won't regret it.“

“We were doing a partial bathroom renovation, replacing tile, painting, replacing the vanity, pretty straightforward. I had met with four other contractors at this point, and the estimates were VASTLY spread out, and many were vague or just a lump sum estimate without scope of work details. Then came Daniel and SafeSide. He listened to what we wanted, and even made suggestions that saved us money. His estimate was very well priced, and listed each element we spoke about in detail. “Toddco saved our property. We had a bad experience with a tree trimming company that destroyed 25 years growth of two banks of tress on the side and front of our property. The bad trimmer also mangled the main Ficus in the center of our yard. The front trees were so traumatized by the damage (they were chain-sawed to their trunks), a virus attacked and we couldn't save them. Toddco stepped in and basically started from scratch. Philip redesigned our garden. The presentation was great -- he gave us a booklet showing all the different plants he would use and where he would put them. First, Toddco removed the front trees (no small matter since there were about 18 huge Ficus trees next to the sidewalk). Then he replaced them with about 13 Podocarpus trees. Each new tree was about 8' in height, so it was a major planting. Toddco put in a new drip irrigation system throughout the property, completely replanted our front garden and the planters that line the house, reshaped the main Ficus, and replanted the strip on the sidewalk near the street. In addition, Toddco repotted three major The results are beautiful. Philip is a gifted landscape architect. Not only is the design gorgeous, the workmanship is immaculate. The sidewalk chipped because Toddco had to use a stump grinder to remove the large Ficus roots, so Toddco fixed the sidewalk and it looks great. When the planting was complete, they power washed the concrete. The work was done very quickly and without any inconvenience to us. Actually, they bent over backwards to accommodate our timing. Because of work deadlines, we hadn't had time to pick out our deck planters. When we received short notice that an important client would be visiting, we rushed to get the planters and Toddco rearranged their schedules to make sure our trees were planted and the deck was finished in time for our client's visit. Truly an amazing company with a fabulous product and wonderful customer service. We're now arranging to have Toddco do our maintenance to ensure the garden stays beautiful. And we don't have to water -- the new drip irrigation system takes care of everything automatically. We woke up one morning to a blue sign on our front strip saying that our water-conserving garden is awesome! Thank you, Toddco.“

“My how time flies... 6 years ago, Greenart Landscape Design (Brent) created an OASIS with just one brief consultation, and he had the vision I was unable/incapable of seeing. He took a lumpy incline of grass and really unusable space and turned it into a tri- level of heaven. I left him the gate keys while on a 12 day vacation, and I returned home to a space that was truly unrecognizable.
The quality of Brent and his teams work is OUTSTANDING. There is absolutely no price tag to put on his exceptional work with all the attention to every detail. Even after 6 years , I still see new variations of flowers and plants. The best investment I've made to truly have indoor and outdoor space for entertaining.

“A well oiled operation....I am going to give a major shout-out to the El Segundo landscaping company, Martinez Landscaping, who today completed a major redo of our entire front yard, and part of our backyard. Two weeks daily, always on time, always with a uniformed crew, always with the bulk materials arriving and refuse being picked on time, a comprehensive, well-discussed plan, and, a contractor with a pretty decent personality, always willing and receptive to listen. It was not a cheap job, and it involved removing tons of contaminated top soil and old lawn, roots, old piping, etc., etc., planting, grading, DGing, and putting down artifical turf per the plan. I have watched many an episode of Peoples' Court featuring lawsuits against a variety of landscape contractors for a variety of reasons. No chance of that here.
