“I had my first visit here recently with a nurse practitioner. We had a big miscommunication. I was disappointed by this. Maybe I didn't express the importance of the problem I was experiencing. Although, I felt it was self evident. Anyway, after a ten minute long contentious discussion, they finally snapped out of the loop of "we must follow our procedure" and helped me. I've been there as a worker before. There are policies that must be followed and some customers don't want to fit into that box. I don't want to be that customer. But we aren't arguing about a warranty on a piece of plastic here. This is my existence we are talking about. I didn't have time for them to follow their order-of-operations. I don't appreciate the extra stress but I do deeply appreciate that they went out of their way to give me what I came there for. That is all that really matters.“
