Dr. Karen was a wonderful guide as we sent our Curtis on his last journey. She is so compassionate and patient. Our family is grateful for her support and kindness. Also, Sam who answered the phone when I called Restful Paws was lovely. Such a good organization. Thanks for everything.
Thea, our beloved 15.5 year old greyhound was at the end of the track. After a terrible night, she could no longer rise. I called Restful Paws. Made an appointment and in a few hours Dr. Karen Vine arrived. Thea was a big brave girl but vet trips always terrified her. Dr. Vine was extremely compassionate and professional. She explained exactly what the procedure was. Thea went to sleep peacefully surrounded by her "pack" . Thank you so much. We loved Thea so much. This was the best thing we could have done for her. She went out without pain or fear surrounded by her loved ones.
I can finally put words into sentences that isn’t followed by heavy tears. It’s been a week since I had to make the decision to send our beloved Summer to the Rainbow Bridge. I learned about Restful Paws when I took my dog to the animal hospital. She was diagnosed w/ cancer and she wasn’t going to get better. I decided it was best to do an at home euthanasia for our dog. I have never experienced anything like this and all I can say is that when Dr. Helen Chuang walked through my doors she was definitely heaven sent. She took her time with my dog and always had Summer’s best interest. It was all on Summer’s terms, which I appreciated. She never for once rushed. She spent over an hour and a half with me. Answering my questions, asking loving questions about Summer which were very heartfelt. When it came time to let Summer go all I can say it was done with love. I was left with a feeling of peace. My beloved Summer left us and she never felt any stress. She went peacefully. If you are in a place where you have to make a decision to let your pet go I highly, HIGHLY recommend Restful Paws. Thank you Dr. Helen Chuang for your gentle love. You are definitely one of God’s angel’s.
