“Rocky is 14 plus years and thanks to the team at Family Pet Hospital and Dr. Singh Tocky keeps on going stron.“
“Dr. K and her staff at Oak Animal Hospital are truly amazing. They take the time to listen to you, completely exam your animal and not rush the appointment time at all. I have been going here for over 14 years and each vet has been exceptional. They don’t push extra tests or costs and are wonderful vets!“
“I cannot say enough good things about this office. Our vet is AMAZING. They always tell you all the options for treatment and the price tag. They will even tell you when you can get prescriptions cheaper online. We had to unexpectedly put our "baby" to sleep today. Everyone was so compassionate. They gave me alone time with him, let me be with him while he.passed, and hugged me while I cried after he was gone. When we had to put.our dog to sleep because he had advanced cancer, they sent us a plaster cast of his paw print, and an ink.one. They are in his memorial shadow box to this day. They never make you feel horrible when.you have an impossible decision to make. I love this place and all of the people, from the receptionist and techs to the vets.“
“Dr. A and his entire staff have gone above and beyond for my animals. He is a veterinarian that really takes the time to explain what is going on with your pet. Elizabeth, (a long time tech at Dr. A's) is so extremely knowledgeable and she really loves animals. As busy as vet clinics have been over the past few years, Dr. A never rushes the appointment. I've had a few Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that I took to Dr. A over the past 10 years and he has treated them so well. I also have had cats that saw Dr. A. He is very gentle with them and his techs do a phenomenal job. I recently sent a few family members to see Dr. A and his team...they were also really happy with the care their dogs received.“
“Dr. Angel is the best vet I’ve ever seen, he and his staff love the animals and have a real passion for taking loving care of the animals. Absolutely love the office, Victoria, and all of his incredible people. Gives sound advice and is always there for you in an emergency!
Thank you, Pet Vet!“
“Dr Heit has been my dogs Vet for 16 yrs and previous dogs I've had over the years. Wouldn't take my pets to anyone else Great Vet and staff“
“Finally found a good veterinary service. My fur baby has been struggling with arthritis. On one visit she is doing better. My concerns were addressed. Very happy with there service and treatments.“
“I went in distraught with what to do with my cat Jasper. I wasn’t expecting it but he passed away that day with Vaca Valley Vet. I came home today to a letter with his paw prints and nose prints.. I thank them so much for that. Something I wish I could’ve done. They are an amazing hospital/clinic. The sympathy and care while I was there and even after is unmatched. I am forever grateful for this establishment. Thank you for giving me what I regretted not getting.“

I think this person was perhaps an office manager or something, she didn't introduce herself to me so I can only assume.... Anyways, here's what happened today.... I brought my dog in to have an ultrasound. I had previously discussed this over the phone with the vet. I was under the impression that a abdomen and chest ultrasound would cost around $500 to $600. When I dropped my dog at the vet this morning for this ultrasound I assumed that that was still accurate. When I picked her up they had done an abdomen and neck ultrasound instead which I totally understand.... in the moment you gotta do what you got to do, that's not a problem, I used to work in the hospital so I get that things change as you start looking for and discovering things etc What I don't understand is that when I asked the office staff to explain the price difference to me they sent out this person who was talking down to me, being condescending and rude with her words and her tone. She was referring to my wife as "confused" and also said "do you need to call her, did she not understand what the vet said," making me feel like somehow I'm the bad guy and that maybe my wife is dumb, or at least they think she is. Funny thing, after I checked with my wife, she said she never talked to the vet and never discussed pricing when the staff called to say Maddy was ready to be picked up. Also... this person was trying to put some paper in my hand showing "an estimate" that they had just created, an estimate that we never saw previously or signed, which means that paper had no actual meaning to it at all, so I wouldn't take it from her... She was being a little rude the whole time and when I said to her, and I quote , "I don't know why you're talking to me that way it's really weird" she got defensive and then walked away without explaining anything any further about the pricing discrepancy. While I was waiting at the front desk to pay the $750, I heard this person in the background complaining to all the other staff in the office about our interaction which made me feel really uncomfortable. So, I just paid and left. I don't really know if I should ever return here because I'm worried that this person will find a way to “
“Amazing Place Dr. Dhaliwal gave me an extra 3 months with my pup when all these new school vets who charged an arm and leg told me he would only last 3 days. Im so very thankful for all the staff and the Dr for treating my pup special i drove 1hr and a half to get there and they fit me in same day.“
“Dr. Casselberry is an outstanding Veterinarian, he has proven is worthiness by his commitment to be there when need be. I was very blessed to have him help us with my horse and others under these troubling times, with the fires in Solano. We appreciate all you did for our horse and others so again, thank you for you being there when we needed you.Always,Gene and Janice Green“
“Dr. Cole is an awesome vet with a great bedside manner. She and the staff genuinely care about the animals. My dog was very ill, tummy issues/colitis and Dr Cole prescribed the meds and probiotics necessary to heal my pup. Thank you Dr Cole.“
“I recently had the best vet experience I've ever had here. Every person I interacted with was friendly, helpful, kind and patient. The doctor himself explained things thoroughly and anticipated the question I would have asked - what would he do if it were his cat?
I also wanted to add that I know a lot of people dislike masks but I showed up with my respirator and felt relieved that they were wearing surgical masks so I didn't have to worry as much about my kitty bringing home an infection that could hurt me (or him).
We have a followup appointment and feel lucky to have found this place.“
“We have been coming here since 2019. Dr. Singh and the entire team has always taken the best care of my dog, they always take their time answering all of my questions and concerns, never make me feel rushed. Dr. Singh really takes his time and has a very great way about making you feel heard, but easing your mind. I have had a few bad vet experiences in Socal... I can tell you the service and care received here is like none other, to the point, we use to live up here, live in Socal, but I literally come up every few months to keep Dr. Signh and the team. I know without a doubt my dog will be taken care of and we won't be turned away. After ER visits inn socal and trying to follow up with a "primary there" and was turned away.. without hesitation we made the drive back up here so Alice could be seen by her normal vet here, Dr.Singh. The entire team here loves and cares about your baby, and if you tell them the situation and they think your baby needs to come in sooner, they will try their best (within capabilities, busy is busy and they are only human, people need to understand sometimes, in order to give your pet the best care and if they are busy, there just isn't an opening) to get you in as soon as they can. Dr.Singh also took care of our cat, that passed two years ago. We lost our cat to large Cell lymphoma, and while waiting on the biopsy when she started to really not do well, Dr gave us prednisone and gabepentin to help her, and help keep her comfortable. Even though he said usually he waits for the diagnosis, he understood she wasn't doing well and he gave it to us early to help keep her comfortable. Dr.Singh is someone you and your babys can trust. Also shoutout to Esparanza who is always smiles, happy to see us, understands we travel to and from here from Socal, always gets us in, encourages me to send photos if I am ever worried and away, and also handles my 1 million questions, but always makes me feel heard, validated and never rushes me. Honestly don't understand the couple of bad reviews, I think people forget this clinic IS busy, because they are good at what they do. If someone isn't getting back to you promptly, it's not because they don't care, every baby is important. Every baby matters. But like human hospitals, some babys need a little more attention, some cases come before others because they are more urgent as inn time could be the difference between life and death. Maybe as a registered nurse, I understand the concept of everyone is important, but some people/pets may need to be prioritized first, but that doesn't mean they will not get you in or don't care. Don't let the couple of bad reviews steer you away, it should speak for itself that they are always busy and full and that I literally drive from Orange County here when we no longer live up here so my dog can be seen by a trusted, caring vet. In January, we came here to get my dogs yearly dental because I don't trust any other vet to put my dog under, when VCA said she needed an endoscopy, I said nope, we will follow up with Dr.Singh, and if he thinks she needs it, he will be the only one doing it. I can ramble a little, and the clinic knows that and is patient with me, anyhow I can go on for years on why you should choose this vet to be your primary vet.“
“If you live in Solano County this is the vet to go to. With decades of experience, they’ve never led me wrong. The vets are always on time, caring and knowledgeable. The ladies up front are so friendly and nice to talk to. I’ve taken multiple pets here for end of life care and everyone is so respectful and they make sure your pet and you are comforted during the process.“
“I had my dog spayed here. They were kind and quietly sweet. The clinic is far from beautifully comfortable but if like me your finances are meek this is the place to go.“
“The staff is kind, efficient, patient and understanding. They treated our family cat with kindness and compassion. We had a consultation because our cat was weak and not eating or drinking enough and seemed to be getting worse pretty fast. We were given a recommendation for x rays and electrolytes. The bill was high, my mom needed help paying. It was closing time. We scheduled the X-rays and electrolytes for the next day. We took our cat home and he died early the next morning. It's nobody's fault, it was too late to save him I'm sure. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 stars is that I believe the vet, with all of his experience, could've told us that at that point our cat's condition was so bad that we should take him to an emergency clinic right away and plan to have him put to sleep or he might pass away at home. Instead, we noticed that a bigger emphasis was placed on the money being paid for the consultation and the x rays and electrolytes the next day. So I recommend to everybody, if your pet is fine and healthy, Animal Hospital is a good place to go for routine visits. But if your pet is in bad condition, please go to UC Davis Veterinary Hospital in Davis, CA. The 30 minute drive from Fairfield is worth it. Those students and their Veterinary teachers go above and beyond for the animals (I've taken my dogs there for years and they're amazing). Still, no bad feelings for Animal Hospital. We are grateful for their help despite the pain of losing our family cat. Thank you for reading “
“The doctor here REALLY cares and listens and is EXTREMELY smart. He’s helping my cat get through being newly diagnosed with diabetes and this place from the assistants to the doctor care as much as I do about making the right choice and what’s good for our finances and ensuring us that everything will be ok. The doctor is just amazing and is super thorough. I love this place. They really gave me the comfort I needed with this difficult diagnosis. Thank you so much Pawsh!“
“Our dog is happy and so are we! This was the first time ever going to Oak Animal Hospital. We adjustment to the area and was looking for a real vet. We went to Petco and wasn't impressed. So we needed to find somewhere for our German Shepherd. When we walked in with a smile and felt like this place could be good. The staff was very helpful thoughtful and made us feel right at home. I am so glad that we found them on yelp. They live up to all of the standards of the five and four star ratings that I saw on the reviews. Dr. Allison Inlow, was really good with our dog Cannoli. She was very gentle with him and had a lot of good recommendations and tips for his teeth as well as his dietary needs. Something most places don't really get into as much I noticed. We are definitely now part of the Oak Animal Hospital family. Thank you so much for everything. Looking forward to having a good future with this hospital and our four-legged baby.“

“Wonderful staff, affordable prices, and caring and knowledgeable Vets who explain everything thoroughly. The care and attention given to pets are excellent. Highly recommend for quality pet care.“
“I noticed often the people who are complaining on here tend to have issues with communication. I am going to state that if you are a decent communicator, and don't plan on leaving your animal for the visit alone, but rather waiting with the animal as is customary at a veterinary office, you should be fine. My animals have been going here since 2021 and I have never had any issues. I will recommend that you schedule for a day you have off or first thing in the morning. Sometimes it can take quite a while (up to 30 min or so extra) to be seen due to the amount of animals they take as clients at this location. This has only happened a few times, but you must be aware that other animals may take longer due to having special needs. It's not all about you. However, I have never worried about waiting because my animals always get the concern and attention they deserve the length of their visit. I recommend being responsible and making sure that you have the time that day and are there for your animal. Please also be aware that if you have a desire to get your animal the rabies vaccine that you make sure you get it within a timely manner and the time for your animal to get it has not already expired, as you must get the three-year vaccine within the time frame for it to count. Remember that the rabies vaccine whether one year or the three year, are really the exact same vaccine with Petco (and most other vets). Most dog owners know this and make sure to plan for the rabies vaccine to be given within the prior time before expiration. Stay on top of your animals records and you should be fine. Vetco will always email the records after the visit. This is exceedingly convenient. Furthermore, they will willingly help you out with prescriptions if there's ever a hiccup and they are very kind. I recently had to call them and request a refill with a different pharmacy and the pharmacy order was filled within 30 minutes. They are definitely on top of things. I have never had any issues when I have scheduled on a day off or at the beginning of the day. Every appointment has gone very smoothly and we have gone here for both routine and advanced care with no issues ever. The staff and veterinarian are very caring and thorough. Yes, it can be sometimes pricey but that is the price that you pay for quality care. And no, they do not treat you worse because you are a Vital Care Premier member. On the contrary, I have been treated extremely well. It sounds like a personal problem for certain people. I know it sounds like I am kissing the behind of everyone here, but after reading several reviews that clearly were the owner's fault if you are an aware person who has owned animals for more than a few years, and has gone here many times because they have a dog with special needs - I can tell you that the reviews are exceedingly misleading, and not at all reflective of actual experiences. I feel it is my obligation to state the truth about going with this hospital.“
“My experience with this Animal center has always been top-notch. At the beginning of the year, my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. He was put under Dr. Knowles care for his treatment due to her knowledge with this disease, she and Jessica (Tech Lead) supported me through this difficult time and I am happy to say that his Condition is under control! The office supplied me with printed info & verbal instructions that made me a partner in my dog's care. This is the place to bring your pets for yearly checks, special needs pets, & concerns both big & small (I could go on & on). The front office staff are prompt, caring, friendly & knowledgeable. They will do whatever is in their power to meet your scheduling needs. They will always return your call and when they do, you will feel like you've known them for years! The techs and doctors are all wonderful, compassionate and supportive-not to mention they know what they are doing!! I've been bringing my dogs there (even when they were called Sunset Animal Hospital) for many years and am so grateful I found them.“
“So this vet is a very good vet and very helpful. An definitely try to help clients who can't afford there bills with payment plans. But i just recently had a problem with a employee named makayla, i don't know if im spelling her name correctly. But she has terrible attitude, demeanor is terrible, an how she speaks to the clients is terrible. So with a establishment like that my only regards to them is they should definitely get her some more training. Because she can rub somebody the wrong way and everybody won't have the same patience i had with her an somebody might actually react an do something you that girl. But other then that i like everybody else in that establishment is very nice and helpful and know how to carry themselves. So i really hope they fix that problem and i don't think makayla needs to be fired but she definitely needs some more training with dealing with clients because her attitude is terrible and that mouth is to smart for me for somebody that knew nothing about the situation or my pet. I hope she gets the help she needs or the love she is missing at home somewhere else then a bad attitude at work an letting it out on others because her personal life.“
“I do not have enough words to thank Dr Kunal and his fantastic team for saving Roxy.
Our primary vet was in Benicia; he retired, and the new vet did not try to save Roxy.
Roxy is 11 years old. I was desperate. A friend of mine referred my Dr Kunal. He was very septic at first after a few new exams way cheaper then the first one ? he decided to do the surgery to remove the mass. We know it was a big risk but we accepted.
He saved Roxy and her legs. Kory was fantastic as well.
They took care of my dog that I have no words besides thank you so so much and I highly recommend them.
Picture of Roxy before and after.“
