“I got a shoulder tattoo here from Zel, and I am so happy with the results! A while ago, I had paid for the shop to research tattoo designs based on myself and my family’s history and ethnic background in the Philippines. I came in, and Zel showed me the motifs that they had identified as appropriate for me. I pointed to the ones that I wanted incorporated into my tattoo, and we got started. I got about a quarter of my arm tattooed, and it looks great! Took about four hours. Highly recommended!“

“I’ve been following Johnny’s instagram (@johnnyxlit) for quite some time and I really wanted to get a piece done by him and today was finally the day! He was so kind throughout the entire process, from booking the appointment, to creating the design and eventually tattooing it. He is also very accommodating, I had gotten sick last week and was not feeling too well a couple days before the appointment. When rescheduling the appointment, he made sure we were able to find a day that suited both our schedules. During the tattooing process, he was light handed, gentle and super caring. I had an incredible time talking to him and the two other artists who were there! 10/10 highly recommend visiting the studio and getting tattooed by Johnny. “I have been looking for a place to pierce my 5 month old ears. Fullerton Tattoo & piercing is the place to do it at. The service is top grade, the equipment is sterilized, & they do their best to make it as painless as possible. My older daughter (6 years now) got it done at Don Roberto Jewelry. The gun locked up & the earrings hole shifted, so it's hard to change out earrings on her. The earing on one side is lower than the other. I didn't want to chance it again, so I was so happy I decided to search around. RG took the time to explain everything for me. Inform me that it is better to allow their ears to develop, but it's a cultural thing for me, and their was no judgment on his part. I wrote this review to thank him. I understand most piercing places prefer not to do this service but if they would just see that the alternative is usually jewelry stores with unexperienced people behind a push gun. I really hope more come to RG who can provide a cleaner & higher quality service.“

“Wanted to pay for a tattoo for my man for his birthday so I called this tattoo shop because a friend recommended it. Arni answered the phone I asked if they accepted walk ins and he said yes. I then told him that we wanted old english letters with shading, I arrived 15 minutes after I called and he had already started sketching out the name he Gave us a very reasonable price so we agreed. I waited for him to sketch it out and do the placement and I left because it was going to take hours.. 7 hours later I came to pick him up. When I saw it I loved it, he brought a vision to life. Even after hours of tattooing and it being 1am his arm continued to be very still and precise, very impressive ? I thought he could be a surgeon lol. Will be coming back for one myself and to do my other daughters name for my man. Highly recommend, you won't regret it. Be sure to ask for Arni!

“This is my personal favorite tattoo shop in Downey. I walked in and met with Bennett Loc who took care of the design I wanted and even came up with a better design than I originally planned. His style of tattooing is phenomenal with an incredible attention to detail. Out of all my tattoos I can say the one he did for me is the best and my favorite. Bennett has great follow up with his customers after getting the tattoo and even offers really great advice on how to take care of it as it's healing and how to take care of it after it's all healed. I appreciate the work Bennett did a lot. He kept his station really organized and maintained properly which was really awesome. The shop overall has great vibes and is a great place to get tattooed.“

“I got my second lobe piercings on Sunday, 07/21/24, with Alf (the owner), who was fantastic and patient. I was visiting in from the east coast and was looking for a good tattoo and piercing shop and I stumbled upon Alf's awesome shop in a really nice area of Long Beach near the beaches . He thoroughly explained the piercing process and answered all my questions. They use surgical steel and a longer bar in case of swelling

When proceeding with the piercing, Alf took great care of each one, taking time to make sure the location was good (checking with me to see if it was good). He also took his time to do the piercing with care and to clean it up, putting on ointment, etc. After the piercing, I was given instructions on how to clean it and do aftercare.

I highly recommend Alf's for your piercing needs. He'll take good care of you. (Also if his shop has really cool designs, especially gaming and anime ones if you are looking for some new ink). Super friendly and everyone in the shop was super friendly as well .

Cleanliness: Location is on a second level of a building with restaurants and other stores. Stairway leading up to shop is very clean. The small shop space is very organized and clean. The booth I got my piercings in was very clean as well. Alf used gloves and sterilize materials ( he'll show you him opening the piercing needle packaging to confirm it's new and sterilized).“

“My sister and I were getting our first tattoos for Friday the 13th. Every tattoo place we went to either had an incredibly long wait time or crummy tattoos to choose from. We came here and was surprised about the short wait time which was about an hour and a half and they had so many cute options that it was hard to choose from! They also had no restrictions about where to place your tattoo as long as it wasn't the genital area (totally understandable!). It was $10 more than the other places but it was definitely worth the extra $10. I was tattooed by Mark and my sister was tattooed by another gentleman and both did an amazing job! The facility was clean they had a movie playing and candy to eat. Let's not forget to mention how friendly all the staff were from the front desk to the tattoo artists.
