I purchase some tea house plans from Joe and had a great experience. I used locally source a rough cut hemlock which was simplified by the detailed material list. I found the drawings and web resources great. This build was my first post and beam structure which the plans greatly simplified. Joe promptly answered the few questions I had. If you’re thinking of building a tea house buy these plans! Thanks Joe for a great experience and although I can’t match your woodworking mastery the plans helped me close the gap.
We had always wanted to create a Japanese garden at our home in San Diego. Our aim was a tranquil place for peace and reflection. With Joe's help we are well on the way to achieving that. From Joe's creative designs we decided on a torii and a bamboo screen. (Joe solved our problem of how to hide our ugly, but essential AC condensers with a beautiful removable black bamboo screen). Joe selected the most beautiful wood for our project. His knowledge of wood and craftsmanship is amazing. The quality of his work is truly exceptional. We love what he built for us. We appreciated his regular updates, with photos, to keep us informed of progress on our project. Joe and Hugo ensured that installation at our home went very smoothly.
