“I'm so happy I settled on Ace. After a few interviews with other roofers, they did everything right, right from the initial inspection, findings, recommendations (chimney was crumbling) and pricing. He took a lot of photos of what they saw needed done up there. The crew did the recovering, etc. in a couple days and did an excellent job. The installed more efficient gutters, and when torrential storms came about 5 months later and water backed up and came inside a wall, causing bubbles under paint in bathroom, they came right over a day later and added one more drainpipe to gutter on each side, letting it drain faster in a deluge. No charge! Excellent, professional, local company. At least have them come to inspect your place to compare with other outfits. I think Teddy did the inspection here.“

“During the great rains of 2023 Noah and his team came through for me. He was professional, communicative and patient. He came on time for his estimate. He took photos and showed the current state of my roof. He explained the materials and process they used. He coordinated with my solar manufacturer. As it was raining off and on throughout March he closely watched the weather and picked a date that he and the Solar company could work. The roof is beautiful. He even built up two of our skylights so they are higher up using redwood. Highly recommended. Some other roofers were about 10k more, were less responsive, or wanted me to pay to do an estimate. While I normally pay more for peace of mind, in this case I'm glad I used Cal State.Even when an issue came up of a fence that was damaged during the install, without a question about who did what they repaired and repainted it, and now its better than new!“

“Sam Park recently did my roof. He came as he told me he would however, I didn't get a chance to confirm with him about them coming the night before but they came bright and early on the day scheduled. They worked really fast, so I didn't get a chance to cover up the work area where my skylites are. For those of you who have a skylite, please cover up the opening the day before they come because a lot of stuff fell down into my house, even though Sam has asked me to cover up when he first started but I wasn't home to do so, therefore there was a mess I had to clean up. It was a cold windy morning in February. Despite the window and the coming storm, they worked through my roof without stopping. What was supposed to be a two day project turned into 1. He replaced dry rot wood and also put in an incline to the part of my roof that had puddles.Sam took care of all the paper work, I didn't need to worry about any of the city permits.Sam is busy, I remember texting him for a quote, he didn't respond until much later but I'm glad I shopped around because his price was very reasonable compared to others. I recommend him. After he did my roof, my house stopped leaking water. I'm glad he got his staff to push through doing the roof that day because rain came the next month and after every rain, I promised myself that I would write him a review because my house is no longer leaking water.
