“Fast Response and Wonderful Care ! I highly recommend Serving Seniors for sensitive care for anyone who needs in home care. My mother (93) fell in February and needed help at home. Raquel at Serving Seniors called me back immediately and was able set up an in home consultation to ensure we were all in agreement as to what was needed and to start the service quickly. Caregivers Myra and Bernadette both gave wonderful help to my mother with daily needs, meal preparation and house cleaning. This took a lot of pressure off my father (95) and gave the rest of the family peace of mind. Communicating with Joanie at their office was always very pleasant. “After several weeks of PT and OT in a Rehab facility, I was discharged to continue therapy at home. ANX Home Healthcare started home visits in less than a week. From late November, 2023, until the end of March, 2024, I got weekly therapy sessions with Erika for Physical Therapy and with Danielle for Occupational Therapy. In many ways my house presented problems that seemed insurmountable because of my limited mobility. With Erika's help, my strength, endurance, and flexibility have improved, and I am safer and more secure walking into my shower and getting on and off my elliptical BioStep. Danielle's suggestions resulted in raising the levels of seating and safer movement throughout the house, and improving my posture and positioning. Thanks to both of their instructions, supervision, and encouragement, I am better equipped to fully live in a house that was not built with mobility or balance disabilities in mind.“

“DayBreak Homecare responded to our need to assist grandma with her daily care needs. It was not easy to find the right agency and the right caregiver. The family tried few promising agencies but didn't work well and didn't meet our expectations. It's a huge relief for our family having DayBreak Homecare now looking after grandma. “My dad received support service from HealthFlex Home Health the last week of December 2023 through the first week of February 2024. Overall, we were very happy with the service. All staff that were assigned to support my dad were good, especially Suhyoung Kim. She was an excellent nurse, patient and compassionate. “My grandmother was hospitalized for several weeks, and we knew she needed help as she lives by herself at home. Family Matters In-home care was recommended to me and I received a response to my inquiry almost immediately after sending it. It was my first time navigating in-home care and James, the Care Manager made it so easy and seamless. We discussed her current living situation and her needs, and he visited my Grandma in the hospital to chat with her. As a formerly very active 93 year old who lived independently, my Grandma was tentative about a care giver. After speaking to James and expressing her concerns--she was relieved to know she was going to be able to do things on her terms. She was confident in her choice to use Family Matters for her in-home care services. James did a thorough home inspection and helped us get my grandmother's home to where it would be wheel chair or walker accessible and gave us great recommendations. We were pleased about the care she received, and she not only trusted the women who cared for her but enjoyed the company! While we used Family Matters for around the clock short term care during her recovery period---we know who to call if we need long term care. Family matters is an excellent family run business who truly listens to their clients and cares about their well being and sense of autonomy. My grandma always felt listed to and that she was ultimately in charge. They were such a help to our family during a hard time and I cannot recommend them enough!!“

Everyone I have talked to or worked with at Tender Rose has been understanding, professional and personable. The Tender Rose team worked hard to find a great fit between my mother and a caregiver. She has engages Mom in activities that are fun and interesting for her as well as ensuring needed tasks (grocery shopping, etc.) are taken care of. Mike provided initial education for my family and me in best practices for supporting people with dementia and he continues to be a resource for us as we grapple with new challenges. “This company is very well run and very ethical. They treat their employees well and take their time to ensure everyone is educated about most current Medicare guidelines. The staff is very friendly. “Jessica from public relations dept reached out to me. She was very thoughtful and explained why we fell through the cracks as we were not informed that Jackie Chan was doing takeout at the height of the pandemic. She apologized and said their customer base is monolingual Chinese and they were able to access the information about the services as they read the Chinese newspaper and we don't. She explained the door ring camera policy is donated by the company Ring, and you need WiFi to access it which we don't have. She said she can connect me with AT & T at a discount rate for seniors. Jessica is very compassionate towards the seniors. Even though one employee left us with a bitter taste (she hassled people for donations and elbowed her coworker not to give me the lunch), I think this organization is very sensitive and compassionate towards us seniors. One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole barrel.“
