“I used Olivia's hair and makeup services for my wedding for my mom and me. I am so glad we went with her! She has a great eye for what looks good. At our trial I showed her photos of looks I liked, and told her what mood I was going. She gave really wonderful suggestions, and we came up with a beautiful look that I wouldn't have envisioned on my own, but ended up being really happy with.I found Olivia while researching Asian makeup artists in SGV. These were some of the points that set her apart from other HMUA:- I appreciated Olivia's offerings because a lot of other HMU services I found were booked as wedding day packages that were above my budget and really more than what I needed or wanted.- Olivia is thoughtful--she encouraged me to schedule my makeup trial for the day of my engagement photo shoot. I know a lot of other makeup artists charge extra for weekend trials--understandably. “I am surprised that yelp does not have more reviews for this place. I was very lucky to have a found Lizi's studio on Google. I was searching for Photo Studios that did traditional Chinese photography and costumes that were very popular in Temple city over 15 years ago. But those places have all since closed. I wanted to plan out a photo shoot with my mom and my sisters for Mother's Day. And Liz was so kind to accommodate us and we had a lot of fun. We spent the entire day shooting all sorts of backdrops in our Shanghai qipao dresses. I plan to go back next year on my own to do Hanfu style photos. Liz's photoshop skills are also top notch. If you let her know exactly what you want fixed, she will make you look like an empress! The VIP service is worth it!“
