“Friendly and attentive nail technicians. I could tell that they have integrity and choose to not take short cuts. At a different salon in Hollywood the tech used the electric tool to take off the dip powder and my nails became extremely brittle and broke. I was happy that at Dynasty the tech (I think his name was Tony) took his time to carefully remove the dip! I truly appreciate when techs are patient and value their customers. I will be returning!“

She does root touch up, coloring, treatments & styling.I cannot style my hair anywhere close to what she does so this is the closest I look to looking like a kpop star. ??“

“I've been coming to Tinzee for many years now and, although though these owner's are new, the quality and customer service is the reason that, whenever I am in Pasadena, I make sure to book a spa mani/pedi! My mani/pedi picture is a week old, so you can see how it looks even after a week later! If only Tinzee would expand to the Central Coast! Highly recommend them!“
“Linda is a phenomenal hairdresser who has been cutting my hair for over 20 years now. I am super low maintenance with my hair in terms of coloring and styling it; however, I tend to put my hair through *a lot* of distress with weekly chlorine and saltwater exposure. That’s where Linda comes in. She not only makes sure that my long hair stays healthy with routine trims but she also gives me individualized hair care tips to improve my hair’s health for increased moisture and length. “Let me tell you about my hair. I always had great haircuts, the kind of haircuts that even look cute in the morning before you comb. Then I had chemo. Then I had no hair. Then I had chemo hair. Then I had short hair but it wasn't like my old hair. At least it was hair though, so I let my hair grow to a reasonably flattering length and I went to Sandra Garden at the Garden Salon because she did my hair back when... and now my haircut is great again! “Hooray for the magical Genie of Serenity who gave me 2 amazing pedicures in the last 2 months (or maybe she spells her name Jeanie)! I'm kind of a "special needs" person right now due to an injury which prevents me from lifting my right leg high enough to do my own foot care. The first time, I hobbled in leaning on a crutch, and she took great care to make me feel welcome and safe. She completely focuses on each task (cuticle cutting, nail trimming, massaging) with meticulous grace - careful not to hurt or startle. Her nail polish lasted so well that I could have skipped the next appointment if not for the fact that my toenails had grown and my calluses were out of control and painful. This time around, instead of "basic," I splurged for the Deluxe Pedicure which included hot stone leg massage, callus smoothing, AND a heated vibrating soft chair molded to my body - Genie gave me a lumbar pillow without me having to request it (I suffer from multiple spinal issues). I've avoided salons for years, mainly because I didn't want to look entitled while someone who clearly hates their job waits on me. BUT this is NOT at all the case with this lovely person! She conversed a little, very gently - not prying or invasive, but generally and kindly. Never condescending (this time I had a cane and she simply made sure that it was stored safely and retrieved it for me at the end). As for the salon venue itself, it absolutely deserves 5 or more stars! What a great find wedged between a Rite Aid and Urban Pets in a plaza in South Pas! The ambiance is artistic and serenely Asian style with beautiful fish tanks, decorative bamboo stalks that are not fake. Quiet. Some unobtrusive music and a wild wide video screen that can play those "Idol" and "Got Talent" shows. The kicker was after I walked out of the salon and had gone one block, I happened upon a frustrated young woman turning away from the Closed sign of a nail salon. She spoke to her elderly mother about what to do because that's where she gets her nails done. I whipped off my sandals and showed them my new beautiful red toenails and gave them directions to Serenity! I hope they made it!“

“A friend referred me to Tina at Nail Lounge So Pasadena. She redid a very poorly done dip manicure from a place on Washington. Tina does a beautiful job. My nails look natural and not thick or lumpy like I got at the other place. Tina is very nice, funny, and extremely clean. I usually have an appt and seldom have to wait. My experience is that they are extremely busy and have a lot of walk ins. Some times the other Nail Lounge studios get called when we think we are calling the So Pas location.Service: Dip powder“

“I just found this place, Molly specifically and it was the best! I came in one day right before a dr's app and needed a refill on my nails pretty bad. I walked in and Molly assisted me and left my nails looking better than what I had asked. She was clean and sweet and took her time to make sure my nails looked great. I can't wait to come back because I was so happy about how my nails turned out, loved them! Great place and good parking situation.“
