“I made an appointment with Patriot to look at my heating/cooling system at my house in Marin. The system blew air, but it was not very hot or cold when it should have been. Although it took a week to get them to my house, when the technician came, he quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. They system was low on refrigerant and he added some. I was charged for 2 hours of time and the cost of a pound of refrigerant, which I think is very reasonable. Unfortunately some other companies would have recommended a whole new heating/ac system even though only a simple fix was needed. I commend Patriot for their honesty and reasonable fees.“

Unlike, several others, Dave sized the system accurately and had clear expertise in the technology. He included improvements to our ducting system which others did not. “I had Next install a brand new heat pump in my condo in SF to replace an old furnace. They did a great job and price was reasonable. Some minor delays and the project ran over in terms of time but the two folks working on the project stayed late to get the job done. I would say that the only negative feedback is that the communication could have been better when delays / issues were occurring on when they would come back, etc. I had to be proactive to call their office but other than that they did an excellent job and I could not be more than happy with my new heat pump“

“Anthony did an excellent job, tracking the original washer drain problem to the sewer line, flushing the line and replacing the old and cracked flow line. He made having a contractor working on this old house a pleasant experience, which most aren't. Expensive, yes, but he was reasonable and stuck to the estimate.

The one star off was for some debris left behind (some old foam and rubber gloves) outside the basement, which I'm sure was an oversight, given that he worked through lunch and was off to another night time job. Thanks Anthony! I will use (and recommend) Magic again.“
