I go to this place because one of the ladies working there worked in a salon that shut down after being with them for about 20 plus years..The place is run down a bit, needs some work, a refresher.. and the nail polish selection is very limited and not up to par with other salons who use newer methods like Dip and such.Prices are not in line with the condition of the salon...

Where can I start? The customer service is off the hook! I have been coming here for 7 years for the service. These people are attentive who you can trust to do your hair and talk to. I recommend any type of business to this salon! Best in San Jose!

I stopped coming here in 2019 because I found a hair salon closer to my home. I used to go to Tanya who is really great but is often booked solid (see previous photos of when she took my hair virginity and colored it). Sometimes I would walk in and was served by another woman whose name I don't recall but she was really nice and had black wavy hair. I desperately needed a trim and called on a Friday morning and was able to go in at 11. Cathy, who has been there 3 months, asked me what I wanted and I told her long layers (what I had) and only 1 inch cut. She asked if she can add another layer because my hair was too heavy. I agreed but she was very aggressive with the scissors. She cut off an average of 3 inches. Then, she did my eyebrows and was so aggressive, I got cuts and nicks and my eyebrows are still hurting and swollen after 2 days. I still tipped her and didn't say anything because (1) the damage had been done and (2) despite the excessive cuts and length, eyebrows and hair did look nice. Now I know to speak up and be more direct.
