“While I was visiting the United States with my dog for a year, I received a lot of help from my teacher. In particular, when an anal sac ruptured, we took careful care so that it could be treated without surgery, which saved us money and allowed the dog to recover much faster. “Booked an appointment here for the first time last week and absolutely love and recommend them! They let you wait in your car while a room is prepared, which helped my pup's anxiety massively. The team made sure I was with him as long as possible and only brought him to the back for five or so minutes. The vet, vet techs, vet assistants, and support staff were all kind and listened attentively to my thoughts and needs and responded accordingly. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy procedures that weren't absolutely necessary. Last and definitely not least, I was wearing a shirt which designated my pronouns as they/them. Not only did the staff compliment me multiple times on the shirt; they also correctly gendered me, which is above and beyond any veterinarian's office I've ever been in. Will definitely be using them in the future! :)“

After my dog's spay surgery, I had some post-operative concerns and decided to contact the clinic again.I expressed my worries to them and was informed that there would be a $35.00 charge for a revisit. Despite this, I decided to proceed, hoping to get reassurance about my dog's behavior, as she wasn't eating. When I arrived at the clinic, the vet examined my coneheaded furry friend and, to my relief, assured me that everything was okay. What pleasantly surprised me was that the vet waived the revisit fee.This experience showcased a significant improvement in my perception of the clinic. It demonstrated their commitment to the well-being of the animals they treat, showing that they prioritize the care of pets over financial gains. This gesture of waving the fee made me feel that the vet genuinely cared about my dog's health and my peace of mind.In light of this, I would like to commend the clinic for their compassionate approach and willingness to address my concerns. “We only visited Paws and Claws with our dog Daisy once, at the end of her life. The doctor sat with her, cuddled her close, and gave her tender care. The process was comforting to know she was in such caring hands. Additionally, they even sent a card signed by EVERY doctor and nurse in the hospital, and a paw print of our dear departed puppy. An absolute class act of compassion and care, and if/when we get another pet, they’ll be the first place we go. Highly recommended!“
