Always thorough and on time.
We had still an original almost 50 year old furnace when we moved into our new house. My husband and I took a few years to decide on what kind of new heating/cooling system we wanted to install in our house. I interviewed many different companies. Maybe 6-7. Austin from Comfy Heating was extremely knowledgable about heat pumps. He was very straightforward with his recommendation and didn't give many details, compared to other high rated companies. My husband and I had many questions for him about the efficiency of heat pumps, and Austin got every detail right. At the same time he was offering us a very competitive price. Also the install team was knowledgable. They had one worker less than expected on the day of the install, which resulted in a very long work day for the two workers showing up. They were not able to finish up with everything. After the install we encountered some problems with air leaking out between the heat pump and the ducts than we would have expected. My husband didn't agree with the approach of just putting some tape on the wooden box, and wanted the root of the problem to be fixed, which meant to take the blower out of the heat pump, and insulating the unit with the sheet metal box properly. Comfy heating had to come back a couple of times until the problem was really fixed. And now we have a super efficient heat pump with minimal air leakage. Comfy heating did absolutely a GREAT job in leaving us with an excellent install.
