Pelvic Path Physical Therapy - Marin / San Rafael Physical Therapists

“I have been seeing Marci at Pelvic Path for close to 10 months now. My initial reason for coming was bladder leakage... But things began surfacing in my body that I thought were unrelated. Each session I would mention the new thing and each time Marci would have an explanation on how the symptom I was experiencing was related to the pelvic floor and would offer up an exercise to address the issue. Not only has my leakage improved dramatically but so has my overall physical strength and mental well-being. She uses an integrative approach to healing and strengthening. I feel empowered and engaged in my healing process. She is giving me tools to take with me as I move forward.Marci is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, empathetic, adaptable and upbeat with just the right amount task master thrown in.The sessions are always different and meet me where I'm at on the day of the session. I trust her implicitly! She is a valued member of my health care team.“

OASIS Physical Therapy & Aquatics Physical Therapists

“Jeff gave very personalized therapy sessions that were at the perfect level based on my physical capabilities throughout the recovery process. I have been to other PT's, and they were typically moving between several patients during my sessions. Not Jeff, he gives you one on one sessions to make sure that you are performing all the exercises properly. I would definitely return to Jeff if I ever need PT again.“

“If I could give DeAnna 100 stars, I would do that. Last year I had both shoulders replaced and I couldn't have done it withoutDeAnna! Her expertise in injuries/surgeries of all types is encyclopedic. Her studio, in her home, has everything needed for a full recovery from any injury. Best of all, with her amazing knowledge, she gently guides clients to optimal functioning in a very safe, supportive environment. DeAnna is the only PT I've ever worked with who created a plan (with how-to videos) that made me want to go home and do my daily home exercises religiously. Because I saw and felt the positive results from sticking to her program!! She's just the best PT I've ever worked with. She's also a wonderful, caring human and I know my great outcomes from my surgeries wouldn't have happened without her guidance and knowledge.“

Kathleen McDonough Physical Therapy Associates Physical Therapists

“Kathleen is one of those caregivers that you don't encounter very often. She is highly skilled and educated in her craft of physical therapy and Pilates and is equally adept in putting you at ease, listening to your needs, and offering a nurturing environment while she is providing excellent care for you. I will never go to another physical therapist because I know that the care I receive from her is unmatched. Also of note is her highly capable and friendly staff. The entire atmosphere is welcoming and professional. If I could give 10 out of 10 stars I would but they only allow 5!“

Tammara Moore, DPT, OCS, CSCS Physical Therapists

“Tammara changed the whole picture of health for me after a chronic neck injury kept me from sleeping well, affecting my posture and pulling my core out of alignment. I spent over a year w a PT at another facility and arrived in the same pain when I had my first session. She worked closely with me, gave me a clear treatment plan, helped me understand how my neck was affecting other pain areas. You can feel the years of expertise in understanding the physiology of injuries in her hands. She facilitated the healing though ART manual therapy, Shockwave for myofascial breakdown and WinBack Tecar for pain and muscular release as part of my rehabilitation.I returned to see Dr. Moore after I had PRP therapy in my left hip since strengthening this area post injection is critical to the success. She gave me mobility pattern exercises and I was able to ski six weeks post!!Highly recommend her expertise to anybody looking to regain movement, has bodily restrictions or wants to improve their performance to the next level.“

In Motion Physical Therapy Physical Therapists

“Fred, my deceased husband, had polio as a child, then in the nineteen fifties lifted weights on Venice beach, and by the time he was fifty-seven, he had constant neck and back pains. Fred tried numerous physical therapists and chiropractors, but it wasn't until he was referred to Brian Beaudoin at In Motion, that he felt lasting relief. He came home to announce, "I finally found someone who really knows what he's doing." Through the years, I and many friends and family members have been treated by Brian, and all of us wholeheartedly agree with Fred's reaction. I've been seeing Brian for 25 years. Brian is intuitive and has a keen understanding of my auto-immune issues and dealing with patients with mixed connective tissue diseases. Also, my athletic young adult son has had two ACL surgeries. After the first surgery, he went to a physical therapist that was covered by his insurance, and described it as a factory, because different practitioners (some interns) treated him at each visit. After the second surgery, he chose to see Brian and pay for it himself. Need I say more? PS. Because he is somewhat of an icon in Main County, and so experienced and wise, it's sometimes harder to get an appointment, but he's worth the wait!“

Cheryl Kosmas Physical Therapy Physical Therapists

“Exceptional diagnostician with a healer's viewpoint on how to manage day to day during the healing and prevention after getting better. I worked with Cheryl on two very different occasions. Cheryl does an exceptional job of explaining the ailment and the healing process/procedures and how to mitigate pain and promote healing every day. Her understanding of the body and an ability to recognize precise & specific-to-you problems and their solution/mitigation. I feel very lucky to have Cheryl on my side of any injury/ailment!“

“I have experienced the benefits of Oshana's literally healing arts for different reasons over at least a decade. She is an experienced physical therapist, who I originally visited following an injury, but she is also a practitioner of many approaches to body work. She really excels at devising a program suited to individual needs, is super perceptive about pain and movement, and is very practiced at prescribing methods to increase mobility and strength. So grateful for the all the help she has given me, and now look forward to attending some of her group sessions! Highly reccommend Oshana!“

Janice Tomita & Associates Physical Therapists

“A few years ago I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, causing pain in my shoulder and arm. My neurologist highly recommended Janice for PT. I now know why: In less than 2 years, my pain level has dropped 90%, and we're not done yet! Janice is both perceptive and thorough; she identified and resolved a number of contributing issues. The result is that, not only is the pain greatly diminished, but my overall health is much better!BONUS POINTS: Janice is also a thoroughly nice person, and enjoyable to work with!“

Lisa S. Iacovelli, PT Physical Therapists

“I found her excellent, helpful. She approached my physical problem from numerous different angles -- careful observation, examination, massage, exercises to do at home, many micro- fixes adding up to a big fix. Things are not perfect but much much better. You really have to work at this yourself but I am deriving great benefit and practical results from working with her. Now is a good time to access her.“

“Jackie is amazing! I have had the privilege of being her patient multiple times, and am so thankful for her guidance in rehabilitating a wrist and elbow fracture simultaneously, (another) elbow fracture a year later, and decreased mobility in my shoulder from years of bad posture and subpar swim technique. Jackie is very knowledgeable, patient, and caring. She explains exercises clearly, and made sure I had the correct form before sending me on my way. Depending on where I was in the healing process, my therapy sessions comprised strengthening, stretching, and manual therapy modalities. Renew therapists see only one patient at a time, which I felt maximized each session and ensured I maintained proper form on each exercise. On occasion I have seen the other therapists, and they are all great! As an athlete, it's a scary place to be when you break a bone that's core to your sport. Jackie's reassurance and encouragement were key to my staying motivated, especially early on in the healing process--and we celebrated little milestones, like being able to curl a one-pound dumbbell or push myself up from a prone position. A happy outcome: Just one year after breaking my wrist and elbow I qualified for the Masters Nationals swim meet, and even swam a lifetime best! The Renew Novato front desk staff is awesome--professional, competent, kind. They remember your name and always warmly greet you. Scheduling appointments was easy via phone or email, and they will add you to a wait list if your preferred day/time isn't available. A shoutout to Angelica, Madison, and Amber for making scheduling and figuring out insurance simple! I moved away and am sad to have finished PT, but Jackie sent me off with a great plan for continuing to strengthen my arm and keep my shoulder mobile. Seven months after my second elbow fracture, I am swimming 2+ miles 4-5x/week and practicing yoga 3x/a week with no pain or limitations. I am very grateful I found Renew PT!“
