This vet team was a godsend for my dog and I. When no one could manage to see my dog due to understaffing or lack of availability (and I mean almost everywhere) East San Rafael Vet came to the rescue. My dog needed help and they provided wonderful care that was kind, gentle, and reassuring. I can't express how grateful and relieved I feel to have discovered them and am hoping to have them become my pup's new primary vet. I was even allowed inside which helped my dog feel comfortable; I've never before seen him greet a vet so happily. Thanks guys!
ESRVC has taken very good care of our pets for over ten years. They saved the life of my shepherd when she came in with bloat a few years ago. Our current male is an extremely sensitive boy who requires a gentle hand. ESRVC vet techs understand and treat him with such care that he cooperates without fuss. I think he secretly enjoys going to visit his friends at ESRVC. We've gotten the best care here, from the skilled techs to the vets who are thorough and, in my experience, generally start with a conservative approach to treatment when it makes sense. The front office staff are proficient and helpful. The owner, Dr. Bill Estheimer, has a heart of gold when it comes to his patients. He has even made special accommodations for our pets when he didn't have to, but it made a world of difference for our sweet fur kids. I look forward to many more years of vet care from ESRVC.
Since posting my review concerning the lack of transparency from recent communications announcing the departures of a few beloved vets, the owner of ESRV personally reached out offering up a sincere apology and insight into why the vets have made the difficult decision to move on. Needless to say, they were all quite practical reasons that had zero to do with any negative operational situations. I strongly believe that my point around how such insight for clients would be helpful towards ensuring we continue to receive the best care for our pets was received by the owner, Bill. He's definitely a stand-up fella who can be trusted and clearly values his customers. While we'll miss those vets who've moved onwards, we look forward to welcoming new vets and continuing to receive the best of care in Marin.
