“Where to start…I had never tried acupuncture before and was skeptical that it would help me, but I was willing to try anything. I have a genetic connective tissue disorder that has resulted in chronic joint pain. Lower back and neck pain that at times is debilitating, pinched nerves that have resulted in ER visits and more recently pain in my thumbs. I booked an impromptu appointment when I had a pinched nerve a few months ago and it was miraculous. After my session with Dr. Kim my pinched nerve was immediately gone and didn’t come back. My thumb pain has not returned. My back and neck pain is reduced so drastically that I barely notice it for several days after a session. My mood is instantly lifted, I feel a strong sense of peace and a surge of energy. At my last session I told her that I have had sinus pressure behind my eye for months. I was given antibiotics because a doctor thought I had a sinus infection, didn’t work. I started taking allergy medicine, didn’t work…but Dr. Kim was able to relieve the pressure behind my eye. Dr. Kim is compassionate, gentle and kind and has really improved my quality of life. I recommend her enthusiastically!“
