“Our now almost 17-year-old lab/pit bull mix, Mae, LOVES going to see her friend Dr Yoshida and has been getting her “tuneups” from him since 2018.At the age of 10, Mae injured her spine while playing frisbee. After a visit to the vet, it was confirmed that she was paralyzed from the waist down and there was nothing our vet could do to help her. Over the course of the following year, she did regain her ability to walk and made what we’d consider to be a 90% recovery.At that time, we hadn’t yet had the pleasure of meeting Dr Yoshida, but years later while under the care of Dr Yoshida for his own recovery, my husband learned that he also works on dogs!As mentioned, our senior pup is now almost 17 years old, and since her injury, has had a few setbacks for which Dr Yoshida has repeatedly been able to help her recover. He is so good with her and always seems to know exactly what she needs. We are so grateful for his care and our little girl wouldn’t be feeling nearly as good today if not for Dr Yoshida.
