Top Hat is the friendliest and kindest place to have cleaning and mending done I've encountered on the peninsula and most probably in my life. Their fees are always more than reasonable and they have mended for me jackets, shirts, pants and backpacks on top of all the dry cleaning I send them.

My go to whenever I need high level work done at a fair price... I've been here a handful of times, often 6+months apart and the owner always recognizes me immediately somehow. You have options in San Mateo but this place is the best, truly.

I have been coming to top hat for a little over a year now and have nothing but good things to say about Chester and Elizabeth and their operation. They are always very friendly, and take great care in their work. They charge a fair price and have always delivered quality.
