They are so friendly and the best price I found! I had purchased a long, unlined overcoat from old navy ($38), and wanted 8” off the length. I got quotes off yelp ranging $45-60, which I was willing to pay but fortunately took one last chance at J’s tailoring. I walked in with my coat and when they quoted me $40, I was elated. They had it ready in one week and I’m super happy with the alteration and service.

Great hemming bridesmaid’s dress, check; friendly and attentiveness customer service, check; fair pricing, check! The lady who helped me with my dress is so adorable and knows what she is doing! My dress looks spectacular and it cost me $50 compared to other places that I wanted to charge me $80 minimum! Plus, there’s plenty of parking in the street and for those going to the nearby Walgreens, there’s a Walgreens parking spot. Will definitely go back!

Friendly service at reasonable prices. Usually you can get everything back within the same week. In addition to tailoring services, they also provide laundering and dry cleaning services. Plenty of parking if you drop-off or pickup in the morning in downtown San Mateo, otherwise there’s plenty of paid street parking.
