“They did a truly amazing job on cleaning my wedding dress. I had originally taken it to the chain Elegance Preserved, which called my dress "challenging" due to the dirt at the bottom of the hem, and charged me over $100 more than Rose Cleaners charged me. When I took it to Rose Cleaners, they immediately said that it was no problem, charged me their standard wedding dress cleaning rate, and returned it to me a week later with amazing results! “This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. “My daughter needed her prom dress altered. We initially went to a different place that only did alterations, but they were expensive. I had a feeling the owner overcharged us. We left her dress there overnight. However, I didn't feel good about it, so I called Debbie's Dry Cleaners after finding them on Yelp. The person who answered was extremely helpful and gave me a ballpark figure. My husband brought my daughter there. It was a great experience. They were so reasonable (saved $30) and fast.
