“I needed a bunch of new wooden windows painted (interior and exterior) and needed someone licensed and bonded, since half the windows were on the 2nd story. I'd had some bad experiences with other companies flaking on estimates or just not getting back to me at all. Luis reached out the same day I sent him a message, and came out the next day for an estimate. He was prompt, friendly, and paid close attention to detail, pointing out things the other 2 guys I'd met with skipped over. He explained the process including prep, what paint to use, and how long it would take. I knew he would do an excellent job and felt very confident going with him. His price was competitive, he worked with my schedule (and around all my pets, which can be challenging), and his team did a fantastic job. His crew was always early, considerate, meticulous about protecting furniture and floors, and cleaned up at the end of each day. “We hired Optimum Seismic in 2020 to evaluate our 2 story apartment building in Pasadena in regard to Pasadena’s new Seismic Retrofit Ordinance requiring that such structures be reinforced. They performed this evaluation with the understanding of the requirements and with our hope that we could exempt the building due to previous work done in the early 90s. We expected the city would still require the work, but Optimum was quick and professional, accumulated all information necessary, and proved after a plan check review that the 90's work met city requirements. We appreciated that they were very easy to communicate with as the process evolved. Ultimately, they showed that no work was necessary to bring the building up to code (Ordinance No. 7345) and provided us with a report to that effect. I highly recommend Optimum Seismic for any such evaluations.“

“Anderson Reconstruction remodeled two bathrooms, the master and a hallway bath. Both were the originals from 1980. We met with Shannon who reviewed with us what we envisioned for our baths and the costs involved which included converting both tubs to showers. Shannon and Greg Anderson, the owner, guided us through the remodel process giving us some great ideas and suggestions. We now have two beautiful bathrooms and new linen closets. We are ready to have our downstairs bathroom remodeled.
From the beginning, Greg, Shannon and Laura and their team (Justin, Albert, Fino, Jose and Gustavo) were great. They arrived as scheduled, worked diligently and left the construction areas in order every day. They were very respectful of our home. Greg, as the contractor came by routinely to oversee the project and Shannon, as the Sr. Project Manager, came daily to oversee the crew and kept us informed of plans, changes, etc. Shannon was very good at helping with design plans and ideas. I was so glad to be able to tap into her expertise.

“I reached out to Ogi on Nextdoor to find and fix leaks in our roof. Ugo’s inspection was thorough, professional, and honest. Instead of trying to sell me a new roof, he discovered that the leaks were due to other parts of the roof (exposed exterior beams, chimney flashing in disrepair). He explained everything fully, gave me a detailed estimate and scope of work, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Based on the heavy rains we had a few days later, everything was completed to a “T”! I would absolutely recommend Ogi and his team for roof work, and I look forward to seeing what other things he could take care of in my home.“

“We were referred to John Petti at Accurate Builders & Repair by our realtor when we bought our house 4 years ago. We were finally ready to embark on a kitchen renovation Fall 2019 and he was one of the contractors we sought out for a bid. After meeting with him and getting his estimate, we decided that he was the best fit for our needs. His price was fair and we liked his personality. We picked correctly! John and his crew did an amazing job. In addition to a major kitchen renovation, we refinished our floors in the entire house, repainted the interior of the house, and replaced/added/rewired all the lighting in the house. John also re-piped our home and repaired our leaky roof! We had so many projects going on at the same time and he was able to manage and time all of them professionally and successfully. John was always very communicative and easily accessible by phone/text/email. His crew has fantastic work ethic...they were always at the house when they said they would be and I always felt comfortable around them. “I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“

“Overall, we're very pleased with the high quality of service and level of professionalism provided by Home Front Build. We spent the last 2 years building out a ~300 sq ft addition to our home consisting of adding new foundation, plumbing, HVAC, and more. Home Front was always willing and flexible to make modifications along the way to the design or even add additional services (i.e. retaining wall, re-stucco the house). Goli did a stellar job at the design work for the project and her experience really shined as she was able to predict and navigate several situations that we would have not known any better to consider. Eduardo was our on-site general contractor and responsible for working with all the 3rd parties to get work done on time and ensure our expectations were met at the end of each segment. My only point of frustration has been that 90% of the project moved very quickly and progress has been made every single day, however, the last 10% of the project has taken months to finalize. While these items are small it can be a bit exhausting to keep tabs on the last final pieces and we're ready to start enjoying the work done and have the project complete. I highly recommend Home Front Build to anyone and know you will get a very high quality level or work, communication, and team!“

Juan always explain the process, layout the options and provide accurate estimates. They stick to the timeline that they provide unless something unexpected occur in the process. The manager frequently check the progress and provide direction for the crew on the next steps. They always resolve complications and explain the options.They take time to do a clean and a flawless job. I found a TV stand idea from Pinterest and asked the carpenters to build it for me.
