“I'd been going to this office for over I think 18 years before we moved more North. I've literally driven 7 plus hours round trip to go back there because Dr. Jacob's who took over for our late and awesome Dr. Hempt is JUST as amazing as he was. I've driven back for Dental repairs and even did do last week with higher gas prices because I literally have not found a dentist as trustworthy as he is, and we moved north 13 years ago! When it comes to ribs that matter (say more than cleanings and xrays) he is tops! Worth paying out of pocket because I've had dentist try and rip me off, driven down and gotten honest and better care from Hillsdale. I actually got weepy leaving last week because I miss the office so much because I've been through hell lately with Northern Calif Dentist, especially trying ones under my Kaiser HMO coverage as in now retired. I feel safe and they've always never caused me pain. I've had months of pain from other dentist. If your lucky enough to be able to go to Dr. Jacob's, do so. You won't regret it. Its my only regret in living near Chico now is the medical and dental are often less than subpar. Dr. Jacob's even helped me financially knowing I had driven so far to go back to him. I only wish we had dentists offices of his caliber near me. My only regret was not going back to him sooner as it would have saved a tooth for me as he'd done in the past when I drove back. Now due to incompetence at other dentist offices, I'll likely loose 2 molars. If I was still near Hillsdale, I guarantee this would not have happened. Love Dr. Jacob's and the office! THE BEST! Only 6 natural teeth stood amongst all the replacement implants and required the care of a team of 3 dental professionals made up of one primary care dentist and 2 additional specialists . “I came in on a weekend, it was not a dental emergency per se but just a terrible experience with dental bonding from my prior dental office. I called at 5:30pm on a Friday night. I had gone back to the other office twice for visits but felt the adjustments were not making the bonding better but worse, I just felt unheard. I told my dentist I felt that I had one big tooth and there was no separation. It seems they didn't believe any further adjustment was necessary Dr. Annie is a no bullshit dentist who gives you the clearest guidance on her opinion as someone who has worked in healthcare this is huge. I wanted a second opinion so went to All Smiles. She is a bad ass dentist that sees emergency cases typically I was far from it but that means her experience makes me feel comfortable that she's looking out for the best for me I just looked like I had one tooth instead of two front teeth it was fused together. The dentist was able to identify this and make my teeth more natural with a slight adjustment. Something my prior dentist was willing to do but having been back twice I did not trust their opinion anymore. Happy with this adjustment and an experienced dentist to be able to make a simple adjustment but made a world of difference to me. I think my prior dentist was fine for cleanings but now that I realize it when more intricate or emergent matters arise I'm worried my other dentist would not appropriately determine the cause or refer me on. Will switch my care over for cleanings.“
