Mediocre experience purchasing a high-end refrigerator and freezer unit. Customer service was great up until they got my money, and thereafter it was mediocre. Everything had to be paid upfront, in cash or check or wire. No credit cards, which is silly for this day and age, and added to a laborious process. The equipment took nearly 1 year to deliver. Blame it on COVID. Blame it on logistics and shipping. Blame it on world politics. But they took no ownership or interest in keep us apprised on the whereabouts and status of the product. This was exacerbated by the senior account manager also going on NPL, and coverage was poor. We just got a lot of excuses, and little to no clarity. Once it did get delivered, the professionals involved for installation had so many stipulations and requirements for the installation, that I might as well have been a general contractor myself. Poggenpohl did little to help me, and were terribly hands-off. When extra parts were needed, they weren't helpful either. I won't be going back to Poggenpohl again. They were quick to take my money (over $25K in the end), but that was about all that was quick and done with much care.

We had our gorgeous Poggenpohl kitchen cabinetry installed in 2011 as part of a massive renovation to our new single family home on Twin Peaks. The sleek, modern look and seem-less functionality still elicits "oohs" and "ahs" from our dinner guests, 8 years later. Recently we needed some repair work done to a few drawers we banged up. (We are passionate cooks!) With one phone call to I-Ching U., our original Poggenpohl designer and project manager, she had their repair expert John B. out to our house a week later. And just like that, fixes were made and our near perfect kitchen was perfect again! He actually came out TWICE, once to do the original work and again to make sure the repair work stuck and to fix a few little flaws he noted during his first visit. All at no charge to us. Talk about phenomenal customer service! When it comes to great design and johnny-on-the-spot service, Poggenpohl is without peer!

I just finished a kitchen remodel with Poggenpohl (P) in Pacific Heights, SF. In former years I have renovated 11 kitchens and bathrooms--none of these prior experiences came close to the P experience. The product is absolutely unparalleled! It is simultaneously beautiful, rich and unrivaled in quality.
