This is the best salon I’ve found so far in San Francisco! My gel manicures last 4 weeks, sometimes even longer!! I have no idea how they do it but I’m always so impressed with the quality of their services.
I am a chronic gel manicure chipper, so much so that I switched to GelX. Seriously, every other gel manicure I had before, I would chip within a day or two.I went to this place on a whim and decided to have my GelX removed and got a gel manicure as a replacement. I have never had a manicurist take such meticulous detail on a solid paint gel manicure. It took a while but so worth it because my nails are barely starting to chip and it's been over a MONTH. I am not exaggerating, it is the VERY BEST gel manicure I have ever received.Be prepared for them to take their time but also give you a phenomenal manicure. LOVE New Age Nails!
I've been coming to Mai for about 6 months and she always does an amazing job! This is probably my fave mani to date so I wanted to share it. Silver chrome gel mani. *Please note* With chrome nails the base layer makes ALL the difference! I had this done with a black base so the silver was more opaque/solid.. if you were to put this over a white base it would be transparent. Chrome is a topper not a base color. Please listen to her recommendations if you show her a photo. She knows what she is doing! 10/10 recommend Mai and New Age Nails - best in north beach and sf!
