“I came here to update what I thought was a prior review but found I never left one on Yelp. Reyes Heating and Air has installed a heat pump mini split AC in our bedroom, and replaced our old school gas furnace with a terrific whole house heat pump heating and cooling system. Our PGE bill went way down, their work was excellent, and the office very communicative. Today, they really came to our rescue! We had installed a heat pump mini split in a mid term rental income property prior to discovering Reyes HVAC. The heat function stopped working on the day a new guest arrived, when it was about 46 degrees out. I called Reyes and Udiel was able to send a technician the next day--not an easy feat during the coldest time of year. Stephanie in the office was terrific with follow up and Udiel called me to explain what had been going on with the unit before wonderful technician, Carlos, had even finished packing his tools. 10/10!“

Per usual, he gave detailed report and suggested 1 immediate part, an igniter, which I signed off on. They went out of their way to quickly obtain the necessary parts to repair our radiant heating system so that we didn't have to endure a cold home any longer than necessary during the winter. “AC went out during July 24 heat wave, highly rated in checkbook.org, I can see why. Could not come immediately due to huge AC problems thought out Marin. Came in on Friday of the four day weekend of July 4th to help people, diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. Had the capacitor in his truck, fixed it with no special holiday cost, just a standard service call and part cost. Highly recommended, fix rather than replace mindset Great service from Dan the owner!!“

“We have used Kelly for a number of jobs over the years. When we moved to our house we had them install a new heat pump and ducts. They did a very professional job, end to end. Good on-site guys, diligent and hard-working. On time, on budget, works well. I recommend them.“

“I made an appointment with Patriot to look at my heating/cooling system at my house in Marin. The system blew air, but it was not very hot or cold when it should have been. Although it took a week to get them to my house, when the technician came, he quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. They system was low on refrigerant and he added some. I was charged for 2 hours of time and the cost of a pound of refrigerant, which I think is very reasonable. Unfortunately some other companies would have recommended a whole new heating/ac system even though only a simple fix was needed. I commend Patriot for their honesty and reasonable fees.“

“We are in San Francisco, CA. Our water heater started to leak and we lost hot water. We needed replacement! Our heater also powers a radiant heating system - so not your basic setup.I cannot recommend Hydrotech enough. It is so rare to have such professional and efficient interactions. Communication was easy from the minute I reached out (including on the 4th of July!). Quote process was smooth and Denis was patient with my questions. The actual replacement happened only a couple days later. Very nice job - not hesitating to rework some adjacent pipes that needed work. Had a few more questions / pipes in the radiant system that needed to be air drained and Denis came back a few days later and very graciously took care of it.Thank you!“

“Honest and Knowledgeable--Highly Recommended!We have a through-the-wall air conditioner which started to make some new noises when turned off. I called JB Refrigeration. As it was not an emergency (not a hot spell), he came out a few days later and after listening to my AC, diagnosed the problem. We discussed several alternatives (being an older, cheaper unit and he wasn't sure he could even fix it), we settled on one (no repair) and we were done. I was impressed with his overall knowledge and the fact that he was willing to discuss a no repair option (for the time being and until it went completely kaput). This gives me time to research getting a replacement unit. He even offered to come back and help with the install if needed.In a heart beat, I would call him back if needed.“

“I had the annual HVAC inspection and maintenance done by a competitor of Aaero, and was hoping to get an estimate for less than $500. Imagine my shock to get an estimate of $32 THOUSAND!! And hard sell, hard sell, hard sell. I "need" new ductwork, new insulation (some old rat droppings), new AC unit, new everything, and this schmuck didn't even change the air filter. The more I insisted I needed to talk to my CPA first, the more the price came down, and the more I was pressured, but he finally left. A friend I was moaning to later said to call Aaero for a second opinion. They came, they saw, they conquered! Their insp'n/maint. charge was all of $545, incl. a new filter. Ductwork, insulation, AC unit: all good, no issues. My friend did me a solid by referring me to Aaero. They've got a loyal new customer for life.“

“Brought my Ford van in needing to get the A/C working same day. I suspected freon was out. They took me right away (go at 8am when they open), were very professional. Determined it was indeed out of freon, but also had a condenser leak that long term meant condenser needed replacing. Thw whole thing took less than an hour. Only reason for no fifth star is, they did not tell me before starting there was a $125 minimum inspection fee. The whole job was $225 which is high compared to a typical $75-100 freon replacement. But, they took me right away, found the long term problem and were very professional as I said.“

I called and spoke with Jenine on several occasions about underfloor heating (actually the manufacture of the product I was interested in suggested I call Radiant Way which is hos I found them) and she was very helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend this company to anyone. When I had a concern about my tile installer working with the product Jenine told me not to worry that he could even talk to the owner of the company for advice if he needed it.
